[REL] Magirus-Deutz Transeuropa V2.0
Re: [REL] Magirus-Deutz Transeuropa V2.0
@Frenchy
Yeah i will have to use it as it is in 1.40 and hope it gets updated.
It is too nice a model not to use it and the sounds are brilliant.

@Dogbert That effect in your screenshot reminds me of some laminated safety glass in the 1970s/1980s/early 1990s. After it had been out in the sun for a few years, it started to get that appearance of little shadowy circular spots, about an inch or so across, neatly lined up all across the glass. Usually easier to notice right after cleaning the glass. The truck is from that era, so I don't know if Ventyres designed the effect into the glass material and now the new lighting is over-emphasizing it, or if it's just an odd bug. I almost missed it in your screenshot because I've seen that effect in real life, and my brain kind of filtered it out!
Glad to see the truck is working pretty well in 1.40 though. I'd held off adding it to my fleet -- didn't want to get attached to it and then have it completely killed off by the version upgrade. Been bitten before...
@sarah1224 I'm pretty sure the fuel capacity is based on the real truck's spec. Yes, stopping for fuel more often is a hassle, but all too often the older trucks' maximum fuel capacity was based on how much weight in fuel could be carried without cutting into the maximum payload capacity. Weight limits were lower back then... and it made the margin for fuel capacity versus payload and total weight pretty thin for trade-offs.

A tour with a Magirus 340 D16 from the 70s.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.
Re: [REL] Magirus-Deutz Transeuropa V2.0
@sarah1224 What we need is a mod for virtual jerrycans! Bind a key to add a few liters of fuel to get to the next station, without calling road assistance!

Re: [REL] Magirus-Deutz Transeuropa V2.0
Don't test it at 1.40 because the newest patch have breaked something.
Don't worry, once the patch became official we will update it

Re: [REL] Magirus-Deutz Transeuropa V2.0
Hi, can someone write me a simple tutorial how to change price of the truck and trailer for my own use? Which files and lines in it I need to edit?
Why I am asking for that is because I started playing at new profile where I want to use only "retro" trucks from mods and the price of that Magirus-Deutz compared to other trucks, for example to trucks by XBS, seems way too high. Like all trucks cost something between 20 000€-40 000€ and that truck costs 160 000€.
Thanks in advance!

Because the mod is locked, you can only use economy_data.sii to get more travel distance per fuel. Just change the value for
