Got some great news!

I managed to fix the UK side! So now we have a fully working TGA with working dashboard and corrected interior glass for both EU and UK layouts.

So I got some good news, and some not so good news.

Good news;
First, i have fixed the gps properly. No more overglow.
Secondly I have made a new custom dashboard for the truck, based on the original but more functional (Digital speedo / fuel bar etc). It just needs a couple of tweaks to finish it.

Not so good news;
I have tried to fix the reflections with only limited success. To do so I had to use TGX E6 windows, so from the external view they appear to not close properly. No idea how to fix that short of remaking the glass.
Also the side window reflection quality is a bit low at times, particularly around illuminated signs. This is probably a setting that needs tweaking so Ima keep looking and see if I can make it nicer.

I've been testing your truck mod and dashboard fix.
The dashboard fix to make it work has to be before the truck mod and it happens that the brightness is dim and changes the original orange color to a blue color.
The color and brightness thing happens to me the same in your truck mod too, I do not know if it is so on purpose or because of some error that I have on my pc. You will have to fix the side windows that turn orange at night, use the thing to change the values ​​that I recommend previously klopps

There are two sets of dashboards in the mod, one blue one orange depending on the cabin you pick. I just fixed the blue one for you to make sure you had a working version. My current fixes have the orange one working too, I fixed the yellow headlights, tweaked the side reflections and finished off my custom dashboard for it.

Spent some more time with the files and got good results;

No more orange glass, all fixed.
Dashboards both orange and blue fixed
Fixed yellow headlamps
Reduced GPS glare (still a tad bright at times - will keep tweaking to improve it.)
Reflections are not the greatest but its the best I can do atm. Managed to wrangle the reflections in to a very gentle effect, it's a vast improvement.

WIP Fixes -
Interior lights ( fiddly and needs effort)
Add-on hookups - Already some working

You should really thank MADster, he made the truck. I am just trying to help out and make it work properly for 1.40.


And on that note;

Fixed version of the MAN Cabin Accessory DLC. Now you can have pillows, extra blankets, air conditioner items etc. (Added bonus - new GPS options)

So a wee second to last update as I kept hammering away at some of these effects and things that were off.

Gave the reflections another tweak. Low/Medium/High settings all work fine and don't cause distractions or have overdone lighting.
Pretty sure I got the GPS fixed properly now. There is still some small "over-glow" during dawn/dusk transitions, but that's true of most gps in game atm.
Switched the direction of the blankets for the interior so they match SCS versions. Tried to add them to the bed like other blankets, but they refused to show a "delete" icon so I gave up on that one.


Only thing left now to fix I think is the interior cabin lights, and that's a lot of fiddly typing and reconfiguring which may take me some time. In the interim I advise using cabin lights from SISL's Mega pack, as they work fine.
Other than that the "old girl" is all spiffy and fixed up for 1.40.xxx.
