Yep, it also took me pretty long time to make sure that everything would work after that renaming.. ;)

Have you taking away the ability to use all trailers mixed together?

I take it one makes one or 2 sii's to make wheels/tires match on trailer?

You can DL it here: http://ets.vinge.dk/files/dd_tandems_tr ... ed_all.scs

I found some issues:

1-Camera 2 don`t get far when at back of truck, instead it goes between cabin and tandem box
2-6x4 taglift chassis have no power on the taglift when the axle is down.
3-I couldn`t attach Cistern painted 2 axle trailer with 6x4 taglift (maybe not a bug but still not able to attach)

Its a bit more complicated unfortunately . Theres 2 ways you can do it .

Easiest method is to find truck wheels from one of the older game versions where the rim and tire were still combined . Then you drop the wheel files for those wheels into the bdf mod and alter the trailer defs so they point at the wheel model you want .

Or you have the more complicated route which is find a tire and rim combo you like and combine them into a single model in blender . That is what I did with my Scania wheels I took V8K Blaines Michelin Scania Wheels and put them together in blender . Then as above drop them into the bdf mod and altered the defs .

I do have suggestions for this issue, since I doubt there is a "driven" liftable axle in existance. But then again, this is a simulation where people can fantasize many things.

I will run down the list of available rigid configurations and give my suggestions:
1) "Chassis 4x2 Tandem" -- OKAY
2) "Chassis 6x2 Tandem" -- RENAME TO: "Chassis 6x2*4 Tandem"
3) "Chassis 6x2 Tandem Taglift" -- RENAME TO: "Chassis 6x2*4 Tandem Taglift"
4) "Chassis 6x4 Tandem" -- OKAY
5) "Chassis 6x4 Tandem Taglift" -- RENAME TO: "Chassis 6x2 Tandem Taglift"
6) "Chassis 8x4 Tandem" -- RENAME TO: "Chassis 8x4*4 Tandem"
7) "Chassis 8x4 Tandem Taglift" -- RENAME TO: "Chassis 8x4*4 Tandem Taglift"

I have helped Flemming V out with correcting fuel tanks for each truck in-sim, and I don't mind helping him again with renaming these chassis definitions. I think I'll send a PM to him with a download of these fixes, to make his modding life easier. :)

Thanks, I will look at them.

Thanks, I will also look at your suggestions.

I tried another mod the other night, 6x4 on an ordinary truck, where I could lift tag axle, and when I did, I could not drive because the liftet axle was spinning wild.
So I was thinking that maybe it's a game problem after they made differential available. Just thinking...
(Or a mod problem that is not upto date, did not have time to look into it yet, as a senior beta tester suppose to do) ;)

Sounds like a mod where the powered axles are set incorrectly, happened to me when modernizing another scania mod, and doing def edits without looking at the chassis in zmodeler.
