Re: BDF Tandem Truck Pack v139.00 (03 November-20)
Hi @Flemming V, i have a question regardings cargo dimension. I noticed that all choice are very tall respect to the most common european standard (4.0m), in the mod looks like they are 4,6 right? Are you planning to make some other cargos/accessory like spoilers for trucks? thanks

Re: BDF Tandem Truck Pack v139.00 (03 November-20)
My own guess is around 4m.
I don't see the cargo box that much higher, compare to cabin height vs cargo box IRL and I am pretty sure that if we compare them with SCS trailers, which I guess to be around 3.8 than I am pretty close.
But I could be soo wrong, as I have never done any cargo dimension, as the coolliner cargo box was taken from an ETS 1 trailer where fifth wheel space was removed and the box added in height for the difference.
That is so many years ago now, and if I messure it higher than 4m, I will resize them all in mod someday.

Re: BDF Tandem Truck Pack v84.0 (12-August-17)
This is a post from 2017. I can confirm that these were the measurements, more or less, back at that time. Current SCS standard (box) trailers are around 4.0 meters in height.Flemming V wrote: ↑17 Aug 2017 18:49 Just checked. My coolliner truck and trailer are exact 4.2m in height. Profiliner and Universal says 4.3m. Container is 4.2m, Cistern is 3.9m
Vanilla coolliner trailers are 4.02m, Vanilla Universal trailers are 4.08m, Vanilla Profiliner trailers are 4.03m.
No need to change anything here.

@Flemming V driving around, I have noticed on the FH2012, the left hand mirror is notably darker than the right hand mirror in the RHD cabs.
Re: BDF Tandem Truck Pack v139.00 (03 November-20)
Tried it out on 1.40 and it seems (so far I tried it) to work just fine.
No issues on my side! Great job once again @Flemming V !

Hi Flemming! Love your mod and have been using it alot.
I was wondering if in the future it would be possible to make the fenders on drawbar-trailers paintable? All my trucks are different colours, so I made a genereic skin for the "box" part of the trailer. If the fenders were paintable I could colourmatch them with the toolboxes and palletboxes on the trailer on every truck and trailer, which I think would look really good.
Best regards, Erland.

Hi Erland
The fenders are not paintable as you say, but yes I could make them be it some day.
(I am not sure that it will be possible with fenders on the dolly, as it is not a part of the trailer. But I will try.)
At the moment, you can paint fenders on both dolly and trailer, if you use one of my custom paintjobs.

@Flemming V if I recall there is a tile in the template for dolly and trailer fenders, @Erland down load a skin pack and his templates and edit away
also a suggestion
@Flemming V the new low loader trailers have small wheels, and having used Kast's 19.5" Maxion rims from his VAK V-Slider trailer i have come to the conclusion that your trailers (both Drawbar & Tandem) are better with 19.5 inch rims and therefore will probably suit the rims and tyres of the low loaders / lowbeds compared to the standard 22.5 inch tyres, especially on the 2 axle dollis as they are very close.
At some stage would it be possible to alter the container chassis so we have a 20ft and a 40ft container (this may result in a shorter chassis on the unit) and a longer trailer. -
also though this is not mega important regarding the tri-axle tandem and 5 axle drawbars, can you at some point edit the def files to remove the steering on the 3rd and 5th axles, they are not really needed, but instead add steering to axle 1 and 4 of the 4 axle tandem trailer.
