The tanks themselves are not added as quickly as it seems. The game does not provide for the separation of fuel tanks into a separate slot.
More precisely, only the 3D model can be detached. But the volume of the fuel tanks can only be specified in the chassis file! Yes, it looks silly, but it is. Accordingly, I will have to create another chassis and make changes to a huge number of configuration files so that all the necessary accessories become available for this chassis. The animated hands mod (Interior Driver by Gonçalo Silva) was made for trucks default by SCS, in trucks mods it may not work or have problems. Besides, with version 1.40, the mod has problems with the new Renault evolution and Volvo trucks

So it is no problem of this truck mod by vad&k.
