Not all single-wheeled axles are steering in real life either.
I would say that's pretty normal.

Sorry for being unclear last time about the color tone. What I meant was the metallic color on the SCS Daf XF105 has a shine to it like a metallic color is suppose to. On your truck the metallic color doesn't have any reflection and makes the color flat. It does it for all colors but black is the best example. I put a link to the comparison to give you a visual of what i mean

Edit: Ignore what I said, I was just being an idiot and my load order was wrong. Everything is good now. Thanks for the mod

make the new daf mod? Like the existing new one in game. Great mod this is.

When you use multiple mods (especially if these mods are from different authors) priority matters. And you are now convinced of this yourself.SoloCross40 wrote: ↑11 Apr 2021 17:04 Edit: Ignore what I said, I was just being an idiot and my load order was wrong. Everything is good now. It's great that you solved this problem yourself.
The next step is to start making mods yourself.
@Nick2332f, I am not planning any new mods in the public domain.
The game does not have a stable base. Therefore, all that you will do with the release of the next patch of the game is endless rearrangements of letters in the configuration files. It's boring and tiring. Especially when you have to maintain large and complex mods.

But there are chassis options with steerable axle.

Would it be possible to make this only by changing text files?
Then I can do it myself.

Yes it is really easy, just open up the chassis def (which can be found in def/vehicle/truck/daf.xf/chassis/) and simply add these lines in if not present or change the lines:
Code: Select all
steerable_axle[0]: true
steerable_axle[1]: true
steerable_axle[2]: false
