SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

The location of add-ons does not need to be prioritized. Include in any order.

Hello, super cool mod, this is a 1 with several asterisks!

I only have one question - is it possible to implement a closed ADR sign and an open, neutral ADR sign?

For this super cool mod you don't need any additional - everything is included here - great, thank you very much - best regards Mike

@pmsrt you can do things like this yourself. The textures of the plates are in the folder /vehicle/truck/upgrade/plate/textures. Compression format - DXT1. Draw whatever your heart desires. The process is not difficult, but fun. :)

Thank you very much for the answer / info, but unfortunately I have absolutely no idea about it & also not the programs for it. I'm "just a user"! ;-) But thanks anyway, for the unbelievably cool mod! ;-)

Now you have a reason to gain new knowledge. :)
Moreover, over time, you will become cramped within the framework that the game or modders set for you. ;)

@Nick2332f to add 1800 steering, theres a folder buried in there with an animations sii file in there i suspect, find it and swap 900 for 1800. Will probably take some hunting though but it will be in there, (otherwise you would have no steering wheel animation)

As for the tag axle chassis, SCS got it right with the DAF 105 and VADiK has simply kept the longer chassis, making this truck one of the best handling tag axle trucks. The Merc is too long, and the 106, (unless you have Schumi's 106) is too short, same for the other stock SCS 6x2 tag axle chassis with the exception of the NG Scania S and R
in which folder?

@Nick2332f From the 1st post:

Code: Select all

To activate the steering wheel animation 1800 degrees, go to the "/def/vehicle/truck/daf.xf/interior" folder and open the "animations.sui" file (for interiors with automatic transmission) or "animations_m.sui" (for interiors with manual transmission) in any text editor.
Look for lines in this file that begin with the words "wheel_anim:".
Place the characters “//” before the line ending with the words 900 degree.
And remove the "//" characters before the line ending with the words 1800 degree.

I figured it out, took me a while I was tired af. Its amazing, i think this option is perfect. I hope other modders do the same, ive never thought of this. I loved your daf but didnt use it because of 900 steering, now its my new truck, got bored of Gloover's TGX E6.
