Tandem addon for RJL Scania rs&r4 by Kast (04.05.22)

I have played ETS2 for years but I have never been able to use this mod. What am I doing wrong? I must be extracting it to the wrong location on my hard drive. Where are the game files hidden on Steam? Sorry for this question. I suspect there is a simple answer.

can you in the next update correct the fuel tank reporting size please. A guess shows the tank to be around 600 litres comparing it to the single tank of the 6x4 long wheel base Daf XF105, its reporting at 1400 litres at the moment.

@Space_Night you can do it yourself, just open the mod and go to def/vehicle/truck/scania.rs/chassis/whateverchassis and change the tank size value to 600.

@LAFAYET47 aaah thats where it is, but it will have to be done on ALL chassis every time the mod is updated, I can do that for now but for the next update it would be better if it was corrected.

Anyone know why none of the skins work?
I've 1.39 ETS2 with 1.39 RJL tandem addon and I'm specifically downloading 1.39 skins and none of them work. On the boxes I keep seeing the cabin's skin.

There should be nothing special in 1.39 skins compared with 1.40/1.41.
RJL skins, however, use the 'old' paint system, whereas skins for RJL tandems use the 'new' paint system.
So, make sure that every skin you want to use on a tandem has the necessary accessory definitions in the subfolder "def\vehicle\truck\scania.rs\paint_job\accessory\" - seeing the cabin's skin on the box is a clear symptom of missing acc defs.
