hi dude, what engine sound mod do you use? I can't find any that are valid for versions 1.37-1.38 ..

That's perfect and realistic with the double mounted trailer wheels. (Which XBS refused to make originally.)
The base of the truck is XBS, but I believe the trailer is made by a Turk ...
Do you perhaps have a link for that trailer or is it private ?

@Frenchy
@Kaldie
Very nice!

@class40
I created my own little "sound mod".

I gave it a new (more powerful) engine and use some sound from another mod that I like.
Basically you can use any sound bank you like and either add it to the engine files or even give it a new engine from a standard SCS truck or another mod.
If you give it a new engine, you have to move over the engine file and replace the truck name in the "accessory_engine_data :" entry accordingly.
Just open an existing engine file from that truck and it should be obvious how it works.

First you have to extract the mod. You can do that in the mod folder and extract it to a path named the same as the scs/zip file. Than you can remove the .scs file.
The folder works the same as the .scs mod file. You can activate it in the mod manger.

I just described that for the Autocar DC here a few days ago:
viewtopic.php?f=207&t=275163&start=1653
viewtopic.php?f=207&t=275163&start=1664

It basically is the same for every mod that is not on 1.37 for ATS or ETS2.
You can also take an existing mod that is on 1.37 as a reference or extract the SCS trucks with SCSextractor. There you can check how the engine files have to look like.

@Kaldie

Yeah I am.

Where did you get/find the trailers from your other post?... (not the rigid + trailer, but the regular classic trailers)
Looking for something like that to use behind XBS's Daf f241.

Thanks @MrCapital ,

Totally forgot about that one, had seen it before quite a while, if not a long time ago.
I guess the version 1.31 in the main post/title made me not download it, I've noticed there is a newer version of it so will try that :-)
