@salamandr5321 : I don’t know, at first I'll see what happens with mb.
@ImRob : Ha ha, I know you love Mercedes.
@ArTrailfanRaf214 : nope.

While the box is not yet ready, I hooked it from the DAF 95, it turned out funny.

Hey XBS
First of all what a great and awesome looking mod WIP! :)

You don't know how long I've been waiting for a complete BDF mod including truck and trailer, no need to use your Schwarzmüller "Lafette" with some other 6x2/4 truck mod ;)
Really looking forward to that!

One Question tho:
Do you plan to make chassis and trailer "empty" when unloaded and add a box when loaded?
Or will the boxes always be there and you just simulate loading like you do with all other game included trailers (and your DAF/Schwarzmüller combo for example)

It's your mod and the choice is all yours, but as a real life local driver (and by now 1:1 scale ETS2 driver ^^) and just for the realism I'd prefer the second option with the box (Koffer/Container whatever) always there and not suddenly appearing and disappearing outta nowhere at your stops =P

Good luck with that project we are all waiting for and make that good ol' "Drehschemelanhänger" (very german word for all you others ^^) come to life in ETS2 :)

I think this is hard programmed by the game... Nothing XBS can do about that I'm afraid :(

you can do that (keeping the box on the truck) like the D3S Antos for example, but i have no clue how to mod so don't ask me how :D

i guess it's some kind of workaround with an invisible "trailer" if you have no trailer, and obviously using the trailer for cargo if you do have one coupled

The point I was talking about is:
I once had a mod (don't remember which) that simulated a swap body system kinda like this one

And to make it clear:
I'm talking about the trailer only, not the truck or anything happening on the vehicle itself
Just the trailer ^^

It was containers and whenever you had no load it was empty (just the empty chassis of the trailer) and when you loaded there was a container on it

And I'd prefer to have it on it all the time (container not disappearing when finishing a job)

That's all ;)
