SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. this would be the case if @@Actros 2019@@ would have any translation but it doesnt, if the game cant find this key it will ignore the @@ and just show what is written in it, so Actros 2019 in this case, or it would show hello_world if you type @@hello_world@@

The truck browser names in Eugene's mod are set by these lines in locale/[language code]/local_module_scania_ng.sii
key[]: "truck_browser_brand_scania_g_2016"
val[]: "Scania G"
key[]: "truck_browser_brand_scania_p_2016"
val[]: "Scania P"
There's some header info and other translations as well, but the file is identical in all 42 language folders.
The problem is, I don't know how or why the game reads the local_module_scania_ng.sii (it doesn't overwrite any files in the base game, so maybe it reads everything by default like it does defs), and I don't know how it knows to associate "truck_browser_brand_scania_g_2016" with the Scania G model, because there's nothing in def/vehicle/truck/scania.g_2016/data.sii that points to this term. Maybe Eugene lucked out and the game was pre-coded for Scania G and P, or maybe there's a pattern to it that he managed to get right. I don't have a clue what the pattern would be for Mercedes trucks at least. I may have to download Schumi's reworks for the MP3 and MP4.
There's also these values:

that go with matching @@statements@@ in the data.sii files, which is how they get their names in the dealer screen.

he didnt luck out, he has done the logical thing, the game throws you the name right in your face when you add a game foreign truck and this string you use to translate it/add a name to it instead of the key
and the game read automatically every file inside the locale folder

Lol, then I'm silly and so is everyone else for not doing this, especially given that you don't need to replace an existing locale file, and can use the same one for all languages to get the name right. Now, I'mma going to go see if I can do this for the RJL Scania...

@xXCARL1992Xx You're right, I missed the part where @NemesysTrans changed the data.sii file so it should display the right name.
In that case, check if the DEF-mod is actually updated with the modified data.sii and that the updated mod is loaded.

Well, I did modify data.sii from the A5C_-_ACTROS_5_2019_-_V.1.40_-_DEF because that's the only place where there is a def folder. There isn't one in the base mod. I will try to give higher priority to the mods but they are already pretty high up...
Hmmm.... now I feel dumb. When I extracted the scs archive, I forgot to remove it from the mod folder. Now it's working. Sorry for the noise!

Guys, i hope the authors of this epic mod, will fix all this things that you reported, when they will have a spare time. We can wait for this epic content.

Ill try again... obviously you guys aren't having this problem so can someone tell me if I am missing something?
