Re: [1.40][REL] Volvo FH 3rd Generation (V1.041 Hotfix, 06-Apr-21)
@johnny244
To avoid the "floating wheels" on the UI I recommend to make another shadow model, just raised like the same distance when you move up the locators of the wheels. Of course the most professional way is making a new cabin, chassis, wipers and windows lower. On all my low deck mods I moved just the wheel locators up but never touched the UI shadow because for me was never a problem of how it looks on the UI
@Kot.11
He prefeers to do his own modifications and parts on his mod so it's better to let him decide.

@Sogard3 I see. Thanks for the tip.
@Kot.11 No, I don't like low decks.

unfortunately so the mod is not for me... sorry, this chassis will be missing. Good luck
Re: [1.40][REL] Volvo FH 3rd Generation (V1.041 Hotfix, 06-Apr-21)
The most important thing is that this mod is suitable for the majority. And, with this he copes perfectly. What a strange vital necessity for a low chassis ...
If someone tells you that something is possible, they are almost certainly right. If he claims that something is impossible, he is very likely wrong.

I'll just throw in this mod is bang on perfect for me. Irritated me from day 1 how the vanilla FH was so awkward with its model (specifically the 6x2 config) so top man Johnny!

Re: [1.40][REL] Volvo FH 3rd Generation (V1.04, 05-Apr-21)
I want to say great thanks to you for making this amazing volvo mod.Actually i've been wanted the realistic-wanna be volvo old fh mod and this has turned into reality.
I'm just tried it in my 1.39 version and overall that's awesome (except glowing standart paint for cabin).Really,really love it.
There are things i wanna say is,could you add some modifications point, various cabs (only two cabs left : sleeper normal & Globetrotter) & various chassises,making the FH2 version which started from FH 12 2003-2005 & FH 13 2006-2008 and fixing that glowing cab paint ?.
Thanks and keep spirit in modding,pal.

Hello Johnny. First a thanks to you for this splended FH3. Already doing great things for the community. Now, I'm not sure if it's something I did wrong, I tried adjusting resolution but that didn't fix it. The light sign custom .dds that I edited only shows as pink, here: [ external image ] Can anyone help with this otherwise? May or may not be the mod.
Next, couple things I noticed inside the cab that may also be the mod. I'm not entirely sure if it is being caused by some mod I have around creating this mischief. But some of these textures have an off color: [ external image ] And lastly this oddity with the left side window: [ external image ] so you know what's up.
Good day.

@MDAchivous What did you mean by "glowing"?
@Mustang_Kaga The glass problem was my oversight once again, wrong shader parameters. I made a hotfix just now. As for the custom banner, you should save the dds file in DXT5 format.

Gotcha.
And right, I do use the DXT5 format. But I think my resolution was off. Figured it should be power of 2 etc so I'll download the hotfix and give it another go.
Thanks again my man.
