SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

I do agree with Nick, as with most projects there should be a rough estimate on when a release could be. HOWEVER, looking at how much detail the current snapshots show us, I can imagine that he releases this mod when he deems it ready and good enough, like Carl said.

Aside from that, the wip snapshots look amazing and I can't wait to drive it when it's eventually released. Great work Gloover!

@xander975 There is a reason why there is usually no release date. :)
Modders cannot or do not want to give a release date, they do all their mods in their free time, besides work, family, friends, hobbies ...... so you can usually not say when you have how much time and how much you want to mod and when a project is finished.
And if a mod would not be ready by a specified date, many selfish users would complain immediately!!!

So just be patient and then be all the more pleased with the result :)

@Nick2332f Not everybody is you and know how much time the work will consume. Especially when building things from zero or rebuilding completely an existing model. I was modding racing game and I know that telling people exact dates when something will be ready is a mistake.

Now I'm starting to mod ETS2 via Blender and believe me, it's not easy as it is, when you compare Blender to Zmodeler which is more simple software ;).

Then you would understand that it's also hard to just pluck a release date out of the top of your head.

I will never tell a release date. I did it twice and it was a huge mistake. It took me really in a rush just to finish it and 1-2 days before the *release date* which wasnt a joy at all.

I didnt had time again to work on it since some events came between me and the truck. But i made some plans now that this wont be a endless project for myself.
But i can tell after i gave the sideskirts a fresh ao it looked so good. Sorry for my broken promise from the last post but i will continue soon when my holidays arrive after this week. :)
