I have read in another thread here someone offering a python script to be able to batch process those image files in the correct format. I'm sure if the author takes the time to look for it, he will find it.

I've also found this interesting GUI tool for GIMP: https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimpdbpplugin/ Unfortunately, it's quite old and hence does not support DDS. But it's licenced under GPL, so it could be implemented.

make a copy of the mod and delete every .sii/.sui./mat and model file (.pmd/.pmc./pmg etc.) from it, kick it through converterPIX to get text .tobj and then use a program like xConvert to convert every .dds file to .tga, now chuck it all into conversion tools and you will have the right .dds files that works 100% with DX11 and OpenGL

could be that there is a little problem(at least on my end)

i found some longer time ago an addon for an chromed bumper for the 4 series.it works til now surely it needs updates here and there...dx 11 or changes for the chrome colour but now it seems the party is over

i know it could depend on the loadorder so i cant reproduce the error again...but at t4 its the same as it was here

in the log i have those errors for both trucks ...r4 and t4..without the extra bumpers no problem

i know this is a little shoot into the blue but possible that you change something at frontgrill/frontbumpers when you update for 1.40?
or maybe do you have a hint to go the right way for error hunting?

I didn't change anything but RJL might have done so prior to sending the files over. There is no model called grill_4s.pmd in the mod but there is grill_stock_4s.pmd and grill_paint_4s.pmd. Also it seems like that addon is overwriting the default bumper definitions.

@LoaderSaints Hmm.. Overwriting. That could be the Thing why the addon isn't there anymore. Til 1.39 the extra bumpers are next to the 4 original ones from the mod.
Maybe rename the addon files to grill _stock_4s and paint_4s?
Will test something like that when back from work

Seems like you are using other mods that overwrite the flares.
