While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

@tee_f that's okay! about the interior, there's a mod on the steam workshop that freshes up the interior really well, and maybe it's something to consider to add this interior to your mod (maybe just in the beginning) if the author of that mod wants to :)

i have the link to the mod here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 2041433517

For the level of detail this mod goes that interior mod is not good or even close to high quality.

@nemanja694 i know the detail in that mod is not on par with the detail of this mod, but he said that he considers releasing the mod with the base interior. i thought he meant that he considered using the scs interior, but in hindsight i think he meant he is considering doing only the base trim level on release

@MediaevalSine ngl that interior mod does look nice but right now I'm torn between releasing the truck with the base interior so that in the meantime people could go ahead and customize the Scania to their liking or release with my interior but that would delay the project greatly. Right now I don't feel like trying to incorporate and put in work and effort into trying to convert an interior mod that is only temporary, at that point I could just update the base interior myself.
We'll see though, as I said I wanna focus on finishing up the exterior first and then we'll go from there. Update soon :)

@MDAchivous alright, hit me up

Make your own interior. I think that is best option no need to rush anything.

@tee_f In my opinion, plan a first release with only the exterior and see for yourself what path you want to go with for the interior at a later date, stress free. :)

@tee_f i feel like its better to make your own interior first, and then release it as a whole. after all, the interior is the part of the truck everyone will be seeing the most, and imo it would be wrong to make such a beautiful exterior and then release it with an interior that was modelled in 2012. that's my opinion though!
