so far that onlye make trailer heavy but not cargo and can give other problems. so when truck got no cargo it stil heavy

Is it possible to edit a config so the Trailer is only ownable and not selectable as trailer for job?

everything is possible, but I have no knowledge in doing so - requires some work in blender i believe.
If you ask Kast kindly he might add this variant krakerlink_folded to the Ownables in some future release....
