Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. I have the same problem with the Pacton trailer and the Menci from MDModder as well.
Do you think your fix can also work with these trailers?

EDIT : The Fix doesn't work for me...with or without, same problem with license plate light... :(

So, I replaced the unit file with the one from the Fix. Result, without the Fix, with the Fix and outright without the "unit" file ... it does not change anything :cry: :cry: :cry:

@Jisse33 This fix will not work with Menci Trailer and Pacton. Answer is simple, the flares have different names and definitions in those trailers.
I've checked my fix with the latest version of Chereau of MDModder and it works correctly.
I see that the red lights on the mudflap are working so its 100% another mod changing the flare definitions of license plate.

Deactivate the Menci and Pacton trailer. There is a possibility that one of these is using the same flares as Chereau or at least the name of lare is the same.
Or simply move Chrereau trailer fix above Menci, Pacton and Chereau in mod manager trailer and then check in game.

It's not possible that this is not working at all, because it adds and changes 2 files.

So, I tried on a new profile and there, miracle, it works despite the Pacton container trailer and the Menci tank. On the other hand, on my game profile, nothing to do, even giving a higher priority to the Chereau and the fix, it does not work. So I have a mod conflict somewhere ...

Probably Menci trailer is overwritting something. I have no time do the fix for the Pacton and Menci trailers now I don't use them. Maybe in future.

I found that with the fix, if there were OTHER trailer mods above it, even though the fix is above the chereau, then there were issues, but putting the fix above all other trailers then it seemed to be okay on the chereau.

This is what I said. If any trailer is also using the same definitions it will overwrite the fix settings. It can't be explained simplier.

Is there a way to increase visibility of licence plate lighting? When I decrease fov for exterior camera, the light suddenly disappears...

@bumbumek Try edit these parameters:
fade_distance: 10
fade_span: 10

By changing the values to higher ones.
