There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

The short chassis have at the moment 6 cargo. I didnt have much time so progress is slow. I have idea but i dont know i made something wrong or what. I see the scs add in body file option ,,empty_cargo", i add this in my body and in folder trailer_cargo but didnt work. Maybe somebody know how to made this or i miss something?

Thanks, work itDubbelDraaiDeur wrote: ↑11 Feb 2021 14:15 Empty_cargo_model is used when you drive empty around. it's going to be overrided by the cargo model once you accept a cargo job.
It can be usefull for using width signs, chain hooks, stuff for widening the trailer...
EDIT: before SCS added this addition, you were obligated to add the width signs as an accessory and take it off in trialer configurator everytime you were going to accept a job that required wider signs or planks. And if you forgot, you got this result:
you see i got double signs , because I didnt put them off in configuration menu before accepting the job.

now with this additon added, you don't need to worry about it if you add an empty_cargo_model, cause it will be overwritten and replaced with wider signs by the cargo model (if you added them to the cargo model)
I suck at explaining things, but i'll give you an example from an empty body i use for my mod. In my case I seperated stuff that should be overwrited by the cargo, so signs, stuff for widening the chassis if you have wider cargo, chain hooks,..
you only need to make sure you put those meshes back in every cargo model, because as said,empty_cargo_model will be overwritten if you pick up a cargo.
this is the model in blender:

next, i put this model inside vehicles/trailer_owned directory in my mod, just made a new map called 'body' and put said pmd file in there.
next i add a new sii inside def/vehicle/trailer_cargo/... called 'empty_cargo.sii' and link the pmd file:last inside my body def, i add this line:Code: Select all
SiiNunit { accessory_cargo_data : .empty_cargo { model: "/roadhunter/trailer_owned/body/empty_cargo.pmd" variant: default look: default } }
This is how it looks with and without the empty_cargo_model entry:Code: Select all
empty_cargo_model: "/def/vehicle/trailer_cargo/doll_vario/empty_cargo.sii"

If you struggeling, you can send me the mod, and I'll take a look at it.

I decided to do the loads by myself, some will only be from scsu. At the moment, 8 loads are ready, but I still have to pin it and arrange it on wooden blocks
