SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

[WIP]Goldhofer modular trailer unit.
Since I started this project yesterday, I don't have that much to show you. But I will keep posting my progress here. At this moment, all I have a screenshot of my work. I started with 4 axle trailer. But I have plans to add up to 10 axle trailers so I can implement different combinations of trailers in the game. Only time will tell . All updates of this project will be posted only in this forum.

Fantastic news! I've been hoping someone with more skills than I would sit down to make one of these ever since I heard about them from the CranesEtcTV youtube channel (the guy reviews 1/50 models of cranes and heavy haulage combinations, nearly all of which are pretty hardcore compared to what SCS has given us in the game). I'll be following this with great interest!

Planning on mostly making a drawbar version along with a suitable truck chassis. About the gooseneck version not sure at the moment.

@xeviax I'd love a good drawbar mod, but be aware that chassis mods tend to conflict with each other worse than basically anything because their definitions are full of explicit "suitable_for" statements. If you publish it with just the drawbar version as a locked mod, it will be impossible for anyone to integrate it into an install with other chassis mods for whatever truck your chassis is for. A gooseneck chassis is much less sensitive to that because it doesn't overwrite any truck files.
If you are set on a drawbar chassis, I believe the easiest one to start with that would be the SCS Actros MP4 - it has all the model parts needed, and IIRC the definitions that you'd need to edit to make the stock parts work on it won't kill any other mods, even Schumi's rework. The MP3 may be similar, I haven't checked in ages whether that has all the SLT parts on the 8x4 chassis. The Scania will be the hardest because it doesn't have the required attachers and there's so many potential conflicts; and the MAN Euro 6 will also need the parts modeled but at least I don't think there's a "rework" mod to take into account. Unless Schumi made one and I missed it.
I'd be happy to help you with integration and compatibility definitions, once you get to that point - I've had to do a ton of that to integrate some stuff for my own install so I know how it's done and what will need changing.
