SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. skin.stock is the shield with 2 leds, sunshld_01 is for the one with 5 leds in it

It's basic skinning. There's loads of tutorials for it on youtube and probably on this forum.

I didn't found a video helping me to do what I need, for ets2 ther's nothing on the web, I talk about tutorials using alpha channels taht's why I asked here.
I will wait for someone else that want to help me.

Hey guys, is it possible to create metallic skins for accessories (bumpers, mirros, sideskirts, etc ?)

right now with only my main skin set to metallic my sideskirts look pretty strange ...

It is strange though because the mirrors seem fine and they all have the same skin ...

Have you saved the dds correctly for the accessories to be metallic?

how does it work if i want to make a part paintable

the cab intake for example, i can make it paintable like the truck but i cant get a skin on it

i have my own template for it, def files linking to this file with skinname.partname def but ingame i just see the main skin from the cab on it

I really don't understand the New Painting system to install it as i know it's not working with ETStudio

test it and you will get it, i had to test is myself till it works

tip, dont change the folder structure, i did it and it was a mistake

Haven't tried it myself yet, but could this new paintjob system even be applied on paintable rims, if the rim parts are using truckpaint shader?

Hey Abass,

I've posted this question before, but it seems it won't be possible >> viewtopic.php?f=111&t=249681

But, if it does work, you will end up making two sets of rims: one set that works with the new paint system and uses that truckpaint shader, and keep the original models to work with all the other trucks using the regular paint system.
