Recently I re-downloaded this game from Steam on my new computer. But when I try to launch the game it does not work, even if I've tried all of four options (Launch STDS, Launch with DX, Launch with OpenGL, Launch under safe mode).
I'm using Windows 10 64-bits 2004, with Intel i7-10750H CPU and Nvidia GTX1660Ti GPU, DirectX 12
Game was purchased from steam in 2018 and works fine on my previous old creepy computer. I've also checked its validity
A prism3d.crash file can be found in the directory: Steam\steamapps\common\Scania Truck Driving Simulator\bin\win_x86

Wonder whether it is a compatibility issue

Re: Game can't launch
Does Scania Truck Driving Simulator come with a game.log.txt because the log you posted can only be read by devs.
Are you in some way saving to Onedrive (or similar), or have the game installed there on your new pc?
I have the sim, but not played it much so dunno about possible problems, just going of my experience with ETS2

Re: Game can't launch
In that game, it was "game.log", without a ".txt" ending. But yes, the file is needed. It is to be found in the public game folder, in "Documents".
I haven't played it for many years, but I don't think Onedrive was supported, at least not actively.

Re: Game can't launch
No, I checked the directory and don't think it is related to Onedrive.
I also download the cracked version to test whether it works, sadly it doesn't. As soon as I click the .exe it crashed and the prism3d.crash log continue appears

@X809
1. Verify your steam game installation.
Goto: Steam -> Library -> STDS -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of game files.
2. Scania Truck Driving Simulator requires directX 9.0c to run.
3. Check if you have an entry in the "config.cfg" file: uset r_device "dx9"
4. Try to download and install "DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)" - https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/downloa ... px?id=8109
(select system language). Read the description (expand).
NOTE: after downloading "DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010), run and unpack to a new empty folder (create it first), and after unpacking, search for DXSETUP.EXE in this folder and run it.
Please restart Windows after installation.

@MirM
The crash still exist, even after I verified my game’s integrity and installed the DX runtimes.
I’v sent an e-mail to SCS support. Anyway thank you for your help !
