3D Vision?
3D Vision?
I just saw Nvidia website (310.70 driver), and Euro Truck Simulator 2 was rated in Nvidia 3D Vision as excellent. I don't know, but, is it true?

yes, it is.Leonssst wrote:I just saw Nvidia website (310.70 driver), and Euro Truck Simulator 2 was rated in Nvidia 3D Vision as excellent. I don't know, but, is it true?
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.
Re: 3D Vision?
I highly recommend using 3D for this game I wish i could explain just how much it improves on gameplay, the mirrors pop in 3D and looking out the side windows you actually really feel like theres glass between you and the outside, really is impossible to explain just how much more real everything looks (even though 2D wasnt too shabby) i brought a pair of emitter type 3d glasses off ebay for £40 from china (exactly the same as Nvidia's own) they work fine with nvidia software so no great outlay to enjoy the benifits
just a word of caution you do need a 120hz monitor to use 3d glasses (any brand) so make sure you have a correct monitor before buying any 3d glasses.

Re: 3D Vision?
How is the performance impact?
Re: 3D Vision?
I have noticed a slight drop in FPS performance but that is with everything up to the max, I dont think it will take much to adjust it to get a good compromise without losing to much to detail, but I havent had time to really tweak things yet so I'll keep you postedReinhard wrote:How is the performance impact?
Re: 3D Vision?
just a quick update I had to reinstall the game due to a problem created by xfire and strangely starting a new profile and using 3d the slight drop in FPS disappeared, Im not even going to try to explain how or why but it did.
