Trailer and cargo masses.

#1 Post by robbit » 19 Jan 2014 02:05

For a chart on the cargo and trailer masses along with the ADR Classifications go here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... sp=sharing

This chart shows the trailer and cargo mass for all trailers and cargo default to the game as well as ADR Classes of those that have them classified.

May be helpful to those creating their own standaolne trailers.

Am I wrong, or is this already available in ETS2 Studio?

the settings are there but not what they should be set to. this is a chart to tell what the game settings are so you know what to use in or outside of studio.

Sometime in the future the studio will be able to read this data but there's too much to do between that and now to tell when that could happen.
On extended hiatus.

Thanks for this. It helps. Admittedly, it would help me better if I knew what trailer goes with what load though. :/

Out of curiosity, why doesn't SCS have the job weight include the trailer weight? Not including the trailer weight certainly explains why 25 tonnes for the Excavator, feels a lot heavier than the 25 tonnes for Beverages! :D

because there exist different trailer and cargo combinations.
thus its better to have trailer weight and cargo weight separated and add them together only when spawning truck in game.
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.

So... there are no cargos heavier than 25t in vanilla? I mean thats realistic kinda, since limit in EU is about 20-25t. But what about oversized and overweight cargos? because with the hill there are in game and max 25t cargo, there is no need for more than 500hp.
