so for those who use game mode through the new Creator Update, is this bringing any benefit to the game performances? I see shared opinions, crashes... I have not yet received the update and wish to know for when it arrives to me

amd brings some fun with the last update thanks to the creators update
had to delete the amd graphics(crap-hics)and install new...now we see

from the gaming side it brings some changes :D still in testing area but like when you got a trailer mod that brings some low fps when the ai passes you with that trailer...you got now no problems anymore

I have an AMD RX 480 video card and I had to disable Radeon ReLive in the Radeon Settings of the latest graphic driver because it seemed to conflict with the Game Bar/Mode (as in causing issues like lag spikes in some games--ETS 2 included). If you experience something like that--turning off the Game Bar doesn't seem to help (at least for me) so you better off just disabling ReLive and using something like the OBS software if you want to record things.

Sadly I just got back into the game recently and was playing with mods/settings before upgrading to the Creators Update, so I can't really compare my experience with the previous Windows build, but I assume you might get something like 1-3 FPS with Game Mode enabled as some recent tests on other games show. Currently I don't experience any crashes or issues though after disabling Radeon ReLive (I have AMD graphic card).
I think the Creators Update should be available to everyone by now, you might want to check again :] If you still don't get any prompt to upgrade, you may use this Upgrade Assistant that Microsoft released in order to upgrade your machine.

I'm not getting the prompt either, but if I am honest I don't really want to update either so no worries there.

It'll come sooner or later since Microsoft prefer the "break into your house and update things" method to the old "knock on the door and see if you'd like to" approach.

dont mate me if i say they roll it out in waves then it is so

MS is not so dump to roll out a update to 400 million devices at once, there is no server on this world who can handle the traffic for a 3 to 4GB update from 400 million user at the same time

Currently I am seeing a lot of tech sites suggesting to hold off on updating because of some issues.

I'm in no rush.

updates causing issue is normal in Windows 10, unfortunately, because of old Programms, old drivers and so on

i have done a clean install and nothing happened since then that is causing issues
