Euro Truck Simulator 2 on Windows 10
Re: Euro Truck Simulator 2 on Windows 10
If you haven't claimed it in the 12 months you'll need to pay for a copy. If you claim it in the 12 months, you get it for free and it will be free....

You've completely misread it. You have to pay for new copies on new devices. Other devices that you've already converted to Win10 stay free, even if you need to do a bare metal "reinstall", just like today.Leen wrote:but after those 12 months you have to pay for the license key.

Or otherway meaned if you have windows xp or vista you have to pay for the windows 10.
If you run windows 7/8/8.1 and your computer could handle windows 10 you can update for free.
But you have only from release date one year time to update - its the 29 july right?
If you decided to update on some date like the 15th august you have to pay for it too.
If you ask now could my computer handle it
Please google it - posting links with mobile doesnt work.
A little question sideways...ets 2 will run on direct x 12 or do i miss some info?

Back to topic - shouldn't we wait for 2015-07-29 [premiere], install, then make opinion?
@Scaniadriver1: In my opinion, we should wait until DX12 will be official ; test how the game works in Win10 [ not earlier than 2015-07-29 ] ; then SCS could do some improvements.

I'm sorry for my BAD gramma english - if I made mistake, please write to me (PM) what correction form should it be; help me learn language instead using 'troll-mode-on'. Thanks!

Did try playing Euro TruckSimulator 2 on Windows 10 Build 10162. It is working. But there much framedrops. And auto save is not working for me. And if i try to save it manually then the game crashes.
Windows 10
Does anyone know if you will be able to play ETS2 Steam on the new Windows 10. I have heard that you cannot play Train Simulator on the new format.
