What I have to change in Map Capture Mod to make it work for ATS?

Hey funbit, i like to use your created map in a project of mine, the ETS2 Editor (https://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/top ... itor-v020/), in wich i want to add a map where the user can change their current position. Because of "beauty-reasons" i removed all country flags/names and the logo and your credits on the pure image. If i give you credit in the thread on the ets2mp forums and in the program itself, i am then allowed to use this? Please answer

I created my own map, but then without the country outlines or city names, and with ProMods and RusMap enabled.

Hey Koen, that looks awesome! Do you know off-hand if the coordinate calculations Funbit posted earlier in this thread will work with your map? I would love to add this to the ets2-mobile-route-advisor (if that is ok with you), but I need to make sure the coordinate calculation works correctly.

Also, what settings did you use for the map (the .config settings, and also how far you zoomed into the map)? I tried using it once, but it was over 2 hours in and not even close to finishing

So why dont you make it not so monstrous. Mediafire is now a horrible website, i keep getting redirected to other websites but i did get it eventually, & now that i have it takes several minutes to open in Maxview using 1.5gb ram & i cannot convert to jpg. Would love to see it but my privacy & security settings do not allow mega to access my pc.

it really looks awesome, does anybody made a map with the 3 DLCs (East, Scandinavia, Vive La France) , also the 3 DLCs combined with Promods and other Mapmods?

I think it would be awesome to have the own Trucking world visible at one view.

The map image creator (funbit) hasn't logged in here since end of last year.

So the probability of him

• even knowing the french DLC
• owning it
• updating the map image
• uploading it

is rather weak.

I think, it could be useful for a lot of Users to see the differences between certain addons and the basic map . Also between the addons itself e.g. Promods vs. MHA vs. TSM vs. ... for deciding which addons fullfill their preferences.

Has anyone stumbled over a similar project? Or made something like this himself, including every map-DLC?

Until now, I used this nice work only every now and then. I'm not a big planner. But with the new heavy-haul DLC, it becomes a very nice tool to plan a tour while you are still musing what job could be done, and what job is not a good idea.

Unfortunately, France isn't fully covered. And what of it was already present isn't valid anymore, everywhere.

Of course I wouldn't mind if Funbit would update his map, but chances aren't that good...
