Dis does not involve ducks but instead green glowing stuff
So how easy is it to get load that go to those nuclear plants?
For the past few days I have been trying to get a load to Saint-Laurent but so far nothing. I had one chance probably a week or more ago as a quick job but another nuclear plant job showed up going to another plant that I haven't been to and I took that job... but ever since then.... absolutely nothing going to Saint-Laurent... even with Jazzycat's cargo and trailers. And yes I check quick jobs and WOT every time I complete a load and I saw nothing going to Saint-Laurent.
Moments like that when ya trying to go to a specific location without bobtailing really vex I with da current freight system which really makes I wish dat da old Pedal to the Metal freight system was still around jah kno.
And of course so far I see nothing really interesting coming from those plants anyway.... and really there are not that many interesting loads with the France DLC anyway... maybe my topic about more box trailer loads had something do with that... or perhaps it was the Heavy Haul DLC.... or perhaps that is just how trucking in France is perhaps.
Anyone who played Pedal to the Metal ought to remember that really special load that comes only from nuclear plants.
oh wait that ain't it but should give someone an idea..... if it is realistic for that to be done...... [notices thumbnail] shoot I thought it was just two trailers... video was too lousy for me to even look at it for a few seconds... [actually watches video]..... oh it's just a hack job of a mod.
but this is what I am talking about..... it'll show just wait....

Re: Dis does not involve ducks but instead green glowing stuff
well..... finally got a load... actually two popped up and it turns out that I was looking at the destinations starting with a "S" without realizing the game ignores Saint and only looks at Laurent. So looked up destinations starting with a "L" and found two loads.
Re: Dis does not involve ducks but instead green glowing stuff
Ill look on it, but when building and testing nuclear plants, i never had troubles finding job in&out. Btw those really special loads request escorts, in some countries even military escorts.
And to the cargoes in and out, theres dozillion of food/ tools/ electro components/ trash/ excavated soil and construction tech on one special cargo, since most of nuclear plants is always work in progres....and will be, till theyll be closed.

Well... In America, heavy hauls that use those sort of trailers usually always have an escort... Which I guess would be the same in Europe for heavy haul as well?
But i know trying to make escorts work in game could be extremely difficult and that's why there is no such thing yet... But since we don't... Why not let us haul waste that could cause a whole town to look like The Simpson's show?
But anyway seems like I just wasted a bunch of time with finding those loads... Getting way too good at wasting time.
And as for the cargo, I guess this is just how France economy is, although I thought the French were well known for wine (unless it was another country I was thinking of, or I just haven't found a winery yet).
Thanks for looking into it even though it was just an oversight on my part

You could use the Virtual Speditor mod and roll your own load. Some consider it cheating, for me anything that cuts out frustration/anxiety is a good thing.

I was thinking about doing that... Which by the way that was another thing 18 WOS let players do.
But I did not want to be bothered trying to figure it out. But found what I was looking for in the end... Even though it took me over a week to realise what was going on.

Well, every region economy in game is mix of what IS there, what would be good to have from what is there in reality and what is possible in due time.
And well see what future brings - figuring out and releasing multi-pivots opens lots of new possibilities. On nuclear plants jobs i dont see anything wrong - did you try all three markets? Or were you speaking only about wotr?

Not really. I'm not 100% sure, but iirc, most EU countries don't require an escort vehicle for overweight/slightly oversized loads. You need an escort for overweight convoys (of at least 3 trucks) and seriously oversized trailers, that barely fit on the road. For example - the ingame heavy trailers in ETS2 fit on single lane easilly and you can turn on intersections without issues, so they don't need escort. On the other hand, if you would have a load that takes multiple lanes, or you travel through places so tight that you miss nearby buildings by an inch or 2, then you need a whole escort squad. Those guys will stop traffic, dismantle any roadsigns and traffic lights, etc and help you get through the tightest of places. Problem with such loads ingame would be: they are insanely tedious to deliver. Sure you can drive the normal 50km/h on highways (in most cases you aren't allowed to go faster with an escort), but in the "risky spots" you usually end up going 1km/h and reversing multiple times. Most players wouldn't have enough patience for such cargo
The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

In the UK a pilot car is mandatory for any long load beyond normal legal limits, and loads exceeding 3.45m wide.

I wasn't looking at WOTR since I wasn't close enough to the cities. But turns out nothing was wrong with the nuclear plants jobs I sorted the job list by destination to find loads heading to Saint Laurent and was looking at the "S" for Saint not realizing that the game ignores Saint when sorting by destination and looks at the "L" in Laurent instead. Once I figured that out I was able to find 2 jobs heading to Saint Laurent. So this whole mess was just the result of me looking in the wrong area of the cargo list.Carthoo wrote: ↑16 Jun 2017 11:41 Well, every region economy in game is mix of what IS there, what would be good to have from what is there in reality and what is possible in due time.

Although I have to ask... which country in Europe would produce interesting, strange, or machinery loads?
