Other file hosters with lots of ads are free and don't have dl limits. They have to show the ads to maintain the site. It's that simple.

It's not the ads people moan about. It's the viruses, trojans, and generally unwanted nasties than often come with the ads.

I look at it this way I have nothing to hide or anything on my system that I am embarrassed if someone found or saw...let big brother take a look I don't care.

As for getting personal info...cripes I use the internet ...everyone and their mother who works for the sites I use already knows all about me through the logs the sites keep of my IP address and everything I do and click on that site (I am an administrator of a website, you would be amazed on how much information I get and have access to on people who just visit the site)

Heck if you use banks, all those people know all about you and everyone who handles your account at that bank and its HQ know all about you. You use a cell phone...well everyone who works for the company you have an account with has access to your information you gave to them when you signed up for service.

Someone wants to spy on me I say go right ahead...the are not going to find out anything about me that I do not freely tell people about anyway. As I said I have nothing to hide from anyone.

Ax, that would be great if this was true. I am not afraid of Big Brother, I am afraid of all those people on the internet which Big Brother is looking out for, not now, but perhaps in 10 years.

Sharemods used to be ok, now for a download it pop ups 2 pages with adds sometimes very aggressive ones that you can only close by closing the browser from taskbar if you click by mistake you risk installing some bloody addons to your browser or even worse to open the windows to a bunch of malware and trojans. so f..k sharemods, next time I will upload my mods on Google drive

Sadly I cannot recommend Google drive or Dropbox, while after a few days it will be suspended because of too much traffic.
