@dsf.fernando
1. Entirely impossible. Turkey alone is larger then Iberia or Ukraine. If you add on Greece and Cyprus, you are talking about nearly a million km2, which is 3x as large as any DLC to date (excluding Iberia).
2-3 are more likely, but I'm still against combining European areas with Asian ones. Make Greece standalone, or combine it with North Macedonia and Albania.

Land size of those 9 countries altogether it's near an 80% of the land size of Spain ALONE.
Wrong facts, the Balkans have a size of ~300.000 km² plus Greece with ~130.000 km² you have ~430.000 km². Iberia has ~600.000 km², that are not 80% of Spain, that are ~70% of total Iberia. It also still the smallest continental DLC area imho.

Why don't you check data before say somebody else words are wrong facts?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_E ... es_by_area

European part of Spain is 498.511 square kilometers. The eight ex-Yugoslavian countries sum 284609 and Greece is 131940. If you know how to do a simple rule of three, that possible Balkan+Greece DLC will have an area equal to 83.55% of Spain alone.

And that's not counting that a big part of Greece land surface are Islands so small that once scaled they could not fit into the game while the Balearic Islands aren't so relevant in the Spanish land size and even the main one could arrive someday to the game (I doubt it, other people have hope on it).

So yes, not exactly 80% but approximate enough to consider it a good value and not to require nobody jumping saying "Wrong facts!" several months later. I thought it was clear I was rounding numbers to give a general scale.

BTW, it's not necessary to ping people with the @[nickname], just the quote you did has the same effect of to send a notification to the quoted user.

I should mention that there now exists an alternative for the lack of Google Street View in Yugoslavia. Merely strap the research guy onto a PC and have him/her fly around ex-Yugoslavia in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Just keep in mind that there is a decent chance that some famous landmarks will be replaced by generic apartment buildings.

jackalnxt, some of those sceneries might be quite old too?
I haven't compared bing vs google maps for that area.

@Shiva , simply put Bing maps is terrible unless you're looking at one of the major cities in the world. I don't even think they have main entrance to the Hemus highway (which was included in RttBS). Still could provide some research potential.

balkans because it has small countries which don't take much time and it fills in the shape of the map
I bet things are gonna be teased :ugeek:

Yep, that's the one. The main entrance I had in mind was at Shumen. In RttBS, it's right in the halfway point between Ruse and Varna.

Shumen, wonder if anyone will add it to the map someday?
There is less space between A2 and A1, than 1 would think.

I wonder. Next DLC for ETS2, might maybe not be Western Balkans?
Altho I still wish that area to be finished.
