Re: Public beta 1.30 discussion
Well random events in ETS 2 would be nice, as some of the road works have been on the go in ETS 2 for some 3 years now! At least the ATS roadworks come and go thanks to random events, how ever long it takes they will be a good addition to the ever changing game (for the better).
When you're down and feeling blue, just remember Eurotruck Simulator 2 or ATS where you can crash into a vehicle or 2!!!

Re: Public beta 1.30 discussion
Havent played the game for a long time. Decided to try out the new beta (for the new scanias of course ). They are very well made but something bothered my OCD. Well these are the current trucks in the scanias line up. So The södertälje factory and the trailer should be updated aswell.

Was thinking the same, but doesn't bother me as much.

Yes random events would be great in ets2. I hope they can add them soon.
GTX 1080 o'cd, i5 6600k 4.4 ghz, 16gb ddr4 2666mhz, nvme drive, windows 10, windows 7 and linux mint 19, nvidia 3d vison, Edtracker pro.
If its not in 3d stereoscopic, I'm not playing it !

I don't think random events will make it into v1.30. SCS kind of has a lot of things going on at once with 1.30 open beta: the italy expansion, the new scanias and special transport. I see it coming into ets2 with V1.31

i think befor we can have random events in ets2, we need to have every map rebuild.. i would find it silly and not nice to have random events on the crappy old germany, nederlands, uk maps.. even poland would need a touch up.
also to have european random events scs would most likely need to build some new ones as some of the ones in ats are for sure not ok by eu law.
atleast in germany the police would never stop a car on the shoulder.. just as an example.
the police (polizei) here always(!) escorts one off to a parkable spot - rastarea for example.
i really think that may be to much work to match every random event to every country law and rebuild it.. becouse things the german police does one way, the france or italian police may do another way.. we would want it realistic dont we? its a simulator after all

I don't know if it is a bug, but I have drove a 8x4 Volvo with a heavy load. What happend is that de truck became crazy and bouncy. At the moment that I retracked the second steer axle (the 6x4 configuration) the bounching stopped.

Wow, Police caring about the well-being of the citizen?! Unheard of! (I'm only being half-way sarcastic here). Where I live (relatively small urban/rural mixed area) whenever I'm being pulled over I always drive down until I find a residential road or parking lot to pull into, out of courtesy to other drivers and for safety's sake (and in-case for whatever reason I end up being arrested, I can leave my car parked there and not have to worry about it being towed). Usually the police don't seem to mind that I do this, however I'm always worried about this behavior eventually upsetting a cop. It was what I was taught to do by my father and my uncle (who's an ex-cop from Detroit, but from the 1950s-1970s, RIP). However, lately interactions with police in the US have been even more unpredictable than usual, especially when dealing with younger police, and I also wonder how well this would work in a bigger city these days.
Anyway, my point is that I really wish that police in the US behaved like police in Germany.
I can attest to this behavior as well in v1.28, with multiple trucks, always with very heavy loads and a lift axle.marcel-dutch wrote: ↑23 Nov 2017 02:34 I don't know if it is a bug, but I have drove a 8x4 Volvo with a heavy load. Re: Public beta 1.30 discussion
Random events don't require a map rebuild. Random events will work on map mods without the map modder doing anything

Why in the renovated italy old objects are. Correct the garages, service centers, companies, truck dealers and hotels for newer ones. As it is all done in Milan.
If you update the map, you need to do it completely, not in parts. Moreover, it is not difficult to replace the objects with new ones, rather than having the entire road network and the city in the forefront.
