I doubt random events make ETS2 this round. If it does, I would be surprised. Random events in ETS2 is a much bigger task than ATS. The map is larger and the roads are denser. There are a lot more roads to program for than in ATS. Eventually though, it will have to make its way there. The question is....when.

I like the addition of the 16 speed transmissions for most trucks, only for both the mercedes actros (MP3 and MP4) I think the differential ratio isn't correct. I drive an Actros in real life with 16 speed transmission, and when I drive 89 km/h the engine does 1250 rpm in the highest gear. In game it is something like 1600-1700 rpm. Maybe another version of the transmission could be added with a differential ratio of 3.815. I calculated this for tyres with a diameter of 99 cm (Michelin 315 70).

I also doubt we'll see them in the oldest parts of ETS2.

Well. I didn't see any new fire truck or ambulance in traffic as they added in ATS. So I am not expecting random events in ETS. At least on the older parts of the map.

That's the Special Transport DLC mission trigger .. I guess. No other explanation for it.

Why wouldn't we see random events on the "old" map? If they can't put random events on the "old" map then I'm afraid random events shouldn't be in ETS 2 at all as just putting random events in just the "newer" portions of the map wouldn't reflect well on the realism aspect would it?
