As a Belgian I feel insulted by Illinois and Wisconsin using the name Brussels for one of their towns.
And that is not the name of a stupid actor-would-be but our Capital City...
So I demand that ILL and WIS never get to be in ATS...

It's not Political correctness, I just say it is not worth mentioning, it is not a truck feature or game feature, it is not something you would die to have it there as "Borat", it is just a silly billboard that can easily be something else. It's just not worth to upset group of players that's all.

Indeed its political correctness when a minority (in this case one person) feel offended and then change things for this small group, just so no one offended. Realise you cannot have a perfect world where no one is offended, and in this and many other cases complainers should stop compalin and focus on the game, this billboard he will only see 0.00001% of game time therefore no reason to complain or change it.

Imo - the banner does not depict the movie character in any way other than the name. As such it may be (and probably is) a total coincidence (since Borat is quite a popular last name for Slovian part of Europe) and most likely has nothing to do with the offensive movie character. As such I don't see any reason it should be changed/removed.
Because following the way of thinking of some people here: The moon and star symbol (present on Turkish flag), but not the flag itself, is offensive to me, does that mean that Turkish flag paintjobs DLC has to be removed/changed? (btw this was a totally random example)

Borat is a real-world name. Imagine your name was used for such an innocent joke, and you learn in this forum that any mentioning of your name, in any context, is an insult to whoever, and in consequence should be banished.

Feel free to get creative and change the image on the sign if it bothers you that much. Download the scs_extractor.exe file from SCS's website. Then extract the dlc_fr.scs file. Copy this file and place it in a folder with this same folder structure in a temporary location.

If you don't know how to edit images in general, there are plenty of helpful websites to be found on Google. Then you can find how to convert them to .dds files here on the forum. That is always good to know...

It's just a fictional company's name on a fictional billboard. Not like SCS used the name of some mass murderer for a billboard.

If this banner was referencing the Borat films, wouldn't SCS be slapped with a lawsuit? I'm pretty sure it's just a name they thought was cool. What a non issue.
