People go mad about way smaller things,
SCS has changed and tightened their ways since 2013/14...
They know better then to talk before everything is clearly laid out on the table.
The internet is mental... and if SCS showed up the trucks like this with no real hope or certainty of them showing up fairly soon, that would just be stupid,
and the guys over at SCS is not that, NOT STUPID.
Remember how they where talking just after release and even a year or two after release, keeping the game simple, not too much complicated simulation, easy for everyone, well, all that changed,and we have gotten a ton of cool features to make things more realistic as far as it can go in the context of these titles anyway. They know full well that if they show off the trucks again and then not produce with in a reasonable time frame, there will be a riot on the forums.
I would not speculate as to exactly when they are coming, but I'd say pretty soon at this point, they must be more or less done, see no reason for them not to be.
