I got another question for this topic. Is pressing the throttle 3/4 way instead of full way, change something?Because,i may have found that pressing the pedal full way makes the acceleration little slower. Is it right or not?

nope. full is more than 3/4 always.
except one thing - adaptive automatic transmission does kickdown (downshift for better acceleration) when you press pedal to the floor. the truck accelerates faster typically but the shift itself might take some time so in result you could be slower on shorter distance.

Thanks for the info!

If you think the Scania NG is slow, then it's your adaptive automatic transmission setting. I use Eco mode and that is "slower" than disabled. But im not trying to be in a race :D Im driving a truck.

In the moment,i dont use adpative transmission. But when i use it,i select normal mode.Should i keep the adaptive transmission off,use normal mode,or use another mode?

@Spn91, i like some more info, what engine and what gearbox did you pick for the truck and what settings, do you use G27 wheel or controller?
Also, what trailer loads, only heavy loads or also small/light loads?

Again comparing apples to apples, with my Scania R580 Old Gen I keep adapative activated and in normal mode.

For the truck in my video,i used 580 hp engine, with 6x2 chassis and the last transmission(the Opticruise 12+2 gears and retarder).I use a wheel, the Thrustmaster Ferrari Red legend, for the automatic shifting,i use a TH8A shifter. For the loads,i pick what i can and the destination i want to go.All kinds of trailers, most of the time. Now,i drive another truck, which is a Scania R560(the 1st Scania),in 4x2 config + the 1st transmission(with retarder). As stated by some people,4x2 seems the way to go.

@Spn91, i just did some simple start and stop with 6x2/4midlift 520Hp Opticruise 12+2 and real automatic with high power mode and the disabled, those two are "faster" than my eco mode.
I then took a new gearbox, the "normal" 12 speed w retarder GRSO 905R and the same real automatic and high power mode and that seem to be faster from start with a normal cargo trailer 17Ton load than the 12+2 gearbox.
I used a xbox controller for windows on this test. It was faster, but i still like my Eco mode. :P
I hope this helps you out.
