I don't care about the European laws and their happy hens and excises! I'll keep modding whatever I can (not just SCS games) and they can't stop me in any way!

Why quote something from the beginning of last year and not read through the whole discussion...
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

The whole new "copyright" law is all about to get very rich companies more richer. Money rules.
And I think that SCS can be suid for mods.
I think that the brains from the "EU Copyright Law" creaters had too little oxygen. Maybe the tie was too tight. I don't know.
But I know that is goes in the wrong direction.

SCS cant be sued for mods, the law is for companies that host copyrighted content like google does with Youtube, or Facebook or sites like sharemods where you can upload to
last time i checked SCS doesnt host anything for other people to download

@Carl: I don't know. SCS make it possible to use mods and maybe it is therefore possible to sue SCS. It is stupid thoughts, I know, but I think it goes that direction.

no it doesnt, SCS doesnt host anything, they dont take any responsibility for it
if SCS would have a hosting side with mods then they would have to start searching and blocking mod uploads, SCS doesnt host anything so the dont have to block anything

Considering the mods are for SCS' own games, I don't see how they could be sued. That would be a legal absurd.
