scs do not care about performance and people with high end graphic cards they still in 2008 lol

Forza horizon 4 with 3070 4k gpu utilization at 98 or right settings and other games they run on dx12

Pavel chatting about dx12 hopefully they will improve high end graphic card support or I'm with scssoftware games.

Robinicus wrote: 29 Jun 2021 12:48 @tarun.p - IMO, if you can afford the extra $200 or so, the AMD 5900X is the way to go; if not, save $100 and go with the AMD 5600X as it outperforms the 5800X. One thing to keep in mind when comparing cpus is AMD comes with a cooler, Intel doesn't, so you need to factor that cost in when comparing them. I have been running a 2700X on the stock cooler for about 2 years now with 0 issues (and I push that PC hard as it is my test bed); my Intel rig has been very reliable as well (i9-9820X).

Either of the choices you have will run pretty much any game easily; the AMDs are better at multithreading (in general) so if you multi-task or stream while gaming that should tip the balance....again, either are great choices and will have a long life in the right rig. Make sure you also look at memory parings as they both like different speed/timing settings to get the most out of them....seeing as you already have the memory, your previous choice may be a factor in picking the better cpu match.

Thank you very much for your valuable reply.

This time I am thinking to go with AMD as I have seen that performance of i9 11900 and 5800x almost at par and AMD comes in lower price.

My other available hardware are as per below

Memory: corsair vengeance DDR4 3200 MHz
Harddisk : Samsung Evo m.2 1 TB & WD SSD 1 TB
Graphic: Gigabyte RTX 3080
SMPS: Coolermaster RS-700 (700 Watts)
Monitor : Aorus AD27QD, 1ms, 2K, 144Hz

I hope AMD works flawlessly with the above hardware. I am still doubtful about my SMPS. I might change the same to run 5800x

It depends on what monitor you have because rtx 3070 too power for 1080p and nivida say that 1440p Is best and can run most games with excellent performance.

Ets/ ats you should get between 74 and 180 fps on 200 scaling. I'm loving my 3070

Friends, is it normal that in map mods like SibirMap / Southern Region Map, in urbanized sectors they go down about 15 to 20 fps? My configuration is Ultra, scaling to 200.

If this game is more for a single core then a multicore, would an Intel I9 11900 be better then a AMD? Correct me if I am wrong. I was on a AMD processor for 8 months before upgrading my system to a I9 in April with a AMD 6900 XT GPU. My monitor is a single 5120X1440 32:9. I do not get very good FPS in the game. Average around 50. I can reach 90 or 100 on ETS2, but ATS, no way. In city with my traffic AI mods and traffic density, I sometimes only get around 25, which is pathetic.

I hope someone can shed the light for me on how I can be able to improve this.

Thank you

In my personal opinion cpubenchmark is a good site to compare CPUs. According to their numbers the Intel 11990K and the AMD 5800X are identical in single thread rating and the AMD 5600x is just a fraction behind: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/In ... 3869vs3859

My suggestion would be not to spend money on a CPU swap but to 1st eliminate other bottlenecks: get ETS2/ATS on a fast SSD, make sure that no other programs use CPU power in the background, get rid of very large un-optimized mods, etc..

i assume yes!
thats what i also discovered in Barcelona on Promods.
Too much details, some modders want to show what they are able to, as long there is no definite multicore support in the Game engine they have to find the balance between eyecandy (what i really like) and playability, as long it is only on very small areas o.k., but as long as the game enginge does not make significant evolvement towards multicore-support the modders should take hints seriousd where there are massive fps-drops and simplify that regions on benefit for playability. The y have to take in account that there are many simmers not running on actual hardware but on hardware really dry-aged.

A little advice: Keep your launch options saved in a text file just in case Steam "forgets" it one day so you can quickly copy and paste it back. Somehow it randomly forgot mine today... :?
