There wouldn't be any problem at all, promods, at lest the newest version, needs all map DLCs and only Steam users can have them, retail has only all map DLCs including Italy and Origin has none of any DLC if I saw it correctly

Just to clarify, I am running the bought and paid for Steam version of ETS2 including all the DLC.

I have also supported ProMods by paying the one Euro premium download fee each time I downloaded the big map mod!

:)

Edit: And have just dropped the payment to pick up 2.46. Decided I can't live without Scandinavia, Iceland etc!

Checked ETS 1.37 and I'm somewhat disappointed. MP4 sounds like crap. It was mostly silent before, pretty much no rev indication below 1500, now it's just loud and monotonous. Can't hear revs at all.
Also, did SCS break airhorns in ETS instead of fixing them in ATS?

SCS has putted Them selves back version 1.1 regarding sounds it is so awfull, only truck that is closest to something is MAN TGX e6.
Truck sounds are horrible but what is giving me headache is that Freaking loud rain Sound that seems impossible to turn Down in volume 😤🙄

After a brief drive from Murmansk to Nikel with a stock Renault, can confirm the sounds are awful and make the game almost unplayable. There seems to be no idle sound whatsoever and any pressure on the throttle causes an immediate jump to full rev sound with nothing in between. Going up through the low gears from a standing start this results in a horrible staccato effect, not at all the gradual build up of engine sound you would expect. The engine run sound has also been nerfed and sounds nothing like a heavy diesel prime mover either.

The "immediate jump to full rev sound" is the biggest issue with the new sound. It is apparently optimized for pedal users, so it doesn't work right if you use a keyboard for throttle input.

No it doesn't work for padal users, no matter how soft you press the throttle, there is little variation to the sound of the engine. always sounds that is revving to hard.
There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

Come on, now you're being disingenuous. Their social media offensive, their presence and influence are directly proportional to their ability to secure licensing deals and maintain relationships with industry leaders. It does not mean they don’t care, quite the contrary. For better or for worse we live in the age of social media. What they do on the social media scene has very little bearing on what's going on behind the scenes as far as development is concerned - though, I will grant you that sometimes this complicated marriage does result in things getting a rushed release.

I understand why SCS is struggeling to Secure licenses because if they showcase what they Got now in Terms of Sound i dont blame companies for thinking theyre unserious or what Ever. I dont believe that Twitter likes make the licens deal any easier, and if it does the world has seriously lost it and went full Clown world!
