Iberia Discussion
Re: Iberia Discussion
^ Might be a result of scaling. Not all important landmarks are built as exact replicates, they game version usually differs a little bit.
Re: Iberia Discussion
This local wiki claims that the church was restored from 2006 to 2008, that could explain the difference in the tower windows. See this picture date, it's from 2005, before the restoration.

On topic, what a tremendously accurate job they have done with the church façade. Kudos to the artists!

Re: Iberia Discussion
Has anyone found the location for both this pictures? Looking at the main interchanges of Lisbon, there's no match. I thought at first they were separate interchanges, but they aren't (look at the buildings).

Esproquet, the curch of Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepción, Arroyo del Ojanco, looks very nicely done in ETS2!
NTM's B-Double Telescopic Skeletal Container Carrier. Youtube video on how it works. W & S thread.
B-Double trailer and short modes: EN 7.82 swap body, 20’ or 30’ containers.
Standalone 40' mode: EN 7.82 swap body, 20', 30', 40' or 2 x 20' trailer.

Re: Screenshot found
Thanks you so much for posting ^^Esproquet wrote: ↑15 Aug 2020 16:58 I'm not sure if anyone else has found this picture, I searched for Jaén in this topic and someone else found a few roads, but in Marmolejo, not in Arroyo de Ojancos (Jaén). This means Jaén, Jaén means olives. This town is halfway between Albacete and Jaén, gorgeous area if there's one. I'm a bit confused because in some pictures this church has a twin window and in others it hasn't, has it been rebuilt?

this screenshot is from the Desert Topic, in this area of the desert of taverns there are "Minas de Alquife", can this screenshot represent that mine? and just behind, the big mountain can be perfectly "sierra nevada" without snow, I don't know why there is no snow but anyway

Re: Iberia Discussion
Indeed!
You're welcome, I was worried I could be flooding a bit
If this game takes places in June, it's very unlikely to have snow in Sierra Nevada in that time of the year.itsavenn wrote: ↑17 Aug 2020 15:23 this screenshot is from the Desert Topic, in this area of the desert of taverns there are "Minas de Alquife", can this screenshot represent that mine? and just behind, the big mountain can be perfectly "sierra nevada" without snow, I don't know why there is no snow but anyway
Mining in Spain was big business in the 19th century... during the last century most of the mines decreased their activity as globalisation increased, eventually most of them closed. Contrary to ecologists will, there has been a resurgence in mining activity over the last years. Here's a map created in 2017.

Minas de Alquife was one of those mines that closed decades ago, but they restarted their activity this very same year. Was it before SCS posted their desert topic post? Who knows, if you look for mines near desertic landscapes you can find:
the marble quarries of Macael (Almería).

It definitely looks like Minas de Alquife. Well spotted!
