In reality there are no separate trailers for animals, you get the standard livestock trailer, and you adjust the levels inside it according to the animals you carry. It can carry, sheep, cattle, goats and pigs. Only poultry is carried in a separate kind of trailer, it looks like a curtainsider, and the poultry is usually loaded up in smaller cages.
There is also a special trailer for carrying newborn chicks, it looks similar to the box trailer, with some openings and vents on the sides and front.

So basically SCS doesn't even need to model the sheep/goats/pigs? Cool

They will have to model them. Livestock trailers have these little hatches which are definitely open during summer time when animals are transported, so the animals are also visible from outside.

By the way, that trailer we currently have is so damn ugly. We need a new model, 4 meters tall with an extendable roof. None drives a 4,5 meters tall livestock trailer in mainland Europe when its empty. Thats why they are 4 meters tall, and got an extendable roof, that can be extended upwards when transporting larger animals like cows. If you google the company Hunland, you can see a typical European livestock trailer. Complete openable hatches, fans, extendable roof etc.

Also, this would be a good chance to implement trailer noises. Animals are walking around on the steeled floor of the trailer, making a clanking sound, plus they also produce their own respective sounds (cows moo, pigs squeel, etc.) Would be nice if you could occasionally hear these sounds while driving or when stopped.

Probably because this trailer isn't based on one from mainland Europe. 😂

Yup that's the one. Built and sold less than 50miles from my house. 🙃

Turkey / Akyel Trailer
IIRC we found RL counterparts when the ARIA trailer was released with Scandinavia
