@IvanKuz, that Sarracin seems possible. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/42.2609 ... m2!4m1!3e0
Madrid? It could be a basic Madrid South Bus Station. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/40.3322 ... m2!4m1!3e0
Arganda "Madrid?" has a Romero Industries. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.3038731 ... a=!3m1!1e3 ? Was it maybe to be an offshoot from Madrid? It does look ok.
Ciudad Real, N-401 north, that might have been either https://www.google.com/maps/dir/38.9753 ... m2!4m1!3e0 or some sort of https://www.google.com/maps/dir/38.9753 ... m2!4m1!3e0 . The latter I think less likely? The first would have an option for https://www.google.com/maps/dir/38.9753 ... m2!4m1!3e0 .
Badajoz, could that be https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Badajoz ... m0!1m0!3e0 ?
By, the way, stuck with this since 05:10 in the morning, it seems?
Ah yeah, Badajoz. Long version of https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Badajoz ... m0!1m0!3e0 could be possible? But the signs north of Cordoba on N-432 make no sense to me.
No clue if any of these will come later. Would be nice if a few atleast popped up someday in the future.

Seeing so much work half done in so many places (as some other in other parts of the whole game map), it would be a waste of efforts if it would never see the light.

We know they used Sardinia and Corsica as training grounds for a batch of new mappers they hired time ago. Even if the senior mappers can't have time to finish those places because they need to work in the next new DLC (the wheel never stops); we could hope they decide to train the newcomers letting them finish some of those places.

Regards

BTW; I still had said nothing about it, but to price Iberia the same than any previous DLC in recent years was unexpected for me. I said several times months ago that I would had expected fair the price of a bigger content to be bigger too. Now I've the feeling they considered a full price for a map they couldn't finish maybe wasn't fair. I'm still enjoying a lot more content than usually anyway.

I wouldn't mind paying for Iberia to be expanded a bit, that would be fair in my eyes.
'cos I like you, thought that the DLC would've been more expensive, given the size of the area.

..maybe even include an outer road encompassing the whole peninsula or really nice scenic coastal route.

LOL, this might explain why SCS missed some signage

Speaking about unfinished cities, if you have a look at the game files there are several finished landmarks in Estremoz (possible hint at an IP2 connection between Estremoz and the A23, through Portalegre, which was surely planned at this point) and the bridge in Peso da Régua (so, extension of the A24 to Viseu, which I doubt would be included as a functional city anyway). There doesn't seem to be anything from Soria, apart from the infamous sign, but still, chances to see it in the future are good in my opinion. Couldn't find anything from Spain apart from the landmarks in Ciudad Real, which are already placed in the map, but there's hardly any space for other cities anyway. I could see Cuenca (more like scenery though and not a functional city) just about fitting between Teruel and Guadalajara, if they intended to link the two through the N-320 and N-420, but I don't see that happening, especially considering how they decided to do things in Teruel, the road to Villastar eats up too much space already for that solution to be considered.

There does appear to be a lot of places that show some initial development, but were seemingly abandoned.

can you please explain to me what on Earth is even the point of orange tape (and/or black warp in earlier DLCs)? It makes absolutely no sense in-universe, since 99% of these roads that aren't accessible to us are still accessible to all AI traffic, and it is not even used consistently anyway (phase 3 or Germany rework foregoes it entirely, as does ATS - and rightfully so, in my opinion). It feels like it is only added for the benefit of the minority of players who disable XXXX barriers.
I'd like to know as well.

Honestly I believe this kind of thing, along with the XXXX, should be options that we can turn on/off according to how much sim and realism we want. Though I can understand why XXXX are here but I can't find any reason for directions being taped.

BAck in the old days you even had XXXX on the direction signs, the tape was a replacement
IRL if an exit is blocked due to eg road works you might find red / yellow tape or black warp on directions signs
