Oh ok, in the editor I saw N-V on the exit sign to Badajoz. That's why I'm confused.

There are 4 main interconnected regions, I don't know how far did this project go, it's from the early 2000s, but I know they create certain on-demand routes with a weekly frequency that may haul around 15 trailers, truck drivers may use each travel as a resting day.

There's a lot of freight ferries. They haul a lot more trailers and containers then 15 normally. But most can take 15 accompanied trailers, so with truck and driver.
We take the Rozenburg to Purfleet sometimes from Cobelfret. And other freight ferries from Stenaline and others. And of course we go with the " mini cruises " with passengers as well.

I've done my 45 hour weekend break on the ferry from Rozenburg (Rotterdam) to Dublin. Yes that's 45 hours on a ferry from the Netherlands to Ireland . Getting paid 12 hours a day, free food 3 times a day. A fridge with soft drinks and tea and coffee in the kitchen.
Drivers room where we could watch movies (DVD) or British digital TV most of the time as it sails of the coast of GB.
This ferry also has about 15 drivers on board. Each with our own cabin. Other drivers stayed in the cabins mostly. So me and a colleague had the drivers room to ourselves.

I don't know if SCS will use the ferries to connect it without DLC France. They've been using the garage buy system so far in ETS2 and ATS.

Still don't understand why La Jonquera isn't in. Just have a look on maps with the satellite map and look at all the truck parkings and gas stations. Promods sometimes seems to have better eye for details like this.

I am very disappointed of a-66 (2nd itinerary), they added a lot of trees, and the place doesn't look dry as it is in real life.

I think you shouldn't be that disappointed since Extremadura, the area of the second trip, is the 8th most rainy region in Spain (upper half). Here are some A-66 pics from Extremadura for illustration:

I think people has a very very wrong concept about how Extremadura in reality is. And not just here, everywhere even in Spain itself.

Maybe that's something the came could include some day: seasons. Same picture with different season, Ciudad Real (La Mancha) winter (left) vs. summer (right).

I come from the driest part of continental Spain and when I visited Extremadura for the first time in summer I got surprised by how green it actually looked!

Depending on local climate, situation in August and mid-June can be VERY different.


For instance in Belgium in june it's raining, while in August it pours.

Don't get me wrong, Extremadura has very dry and barren zones. That could had perfectly been what you knew and that caused that impression. But some zones aren't the whole picture, the "all dry everywhere" is mostly a topic for lots of places in Spain. There's very lush and green zones in Extremadura too. If I remember well, they've even the only Spanish inland beach awarded with blue flag (EU quality distinction). Like some people get shocked when they say the glaciers in Sierra Nevada when they are being scorched visiting the Alhambra in the mid of the summer (a sight that, unfortunately, has not so much future if the climate keeps warming).

Speaking of Granada and warm weather, if the skies are clear and there's no wind, I find it tolerable removing my coat and skiing in Sierra Nevada with a short sleeve T-shirt as long as you keep yourself away from the mountain shade (and wear sunscreen!).

If they eventually include seasons in game, most of Granada mountains would need to be covered in snow.
