Re: Iberia Discussion
I'm taking my time discovering Iberia. This is the first time ever that I haven't just beelined all the undiscovered cities and then 180-ed out of there. I love the highways and driving through all the interchanges. It's actually keeping me taking the same roads and going back and forth between cities I had already discovered. Something I don't usually do until weeks if not months after a DLC drops.
Re: Iberia Discussion
I like the community showcase, just I think SCS should release an official statement regarding innacuracies and the way forward.
Don't get me wrong, this DLC made my eyes pop out. Just what @Lolsmurf mentioned needs to be addressed.
Also the only city I visited irl is Barcelona. It looks very similar. The sort of hill you see next to the highway in Barcelona exists irl as well as that roundabout with a road coming from the middle.

Re: Iberia Discussion
Yep, it seems many people are doing so. Only 0,1% people who own ETS2 have discovered all 49 cities already.
Re: Iberia Discussion
One of the 0.1% is me. Still need to discover more than a few roads.

Re: Iberia Discussion
They said today in the blog post that they are reading the comments about Iberia and that they are grateful for the constructive criticism. And I believe if something is going to happen in Iberia with new additions and improvements, it will only happen in 1.41 update and they should only talk about it close to the update.
ATS and ETS2 is Hella nice!

Re: Iberia Discussion
Marcello Julio, I think 1.41 would be too soon for new roads.
Unless SCS already has roads closing on completion, that is not ingame.
I did google maps check out the quarry and road from a SCS preview stream, that is north of Murcia, when they streamed or a bit afterwards/delayed.
Madrid is the most south I have been. The area on A-4, southeast of Getafe. Yeah, that area is nice, festmache.

Oh, the 1 south of Murcia? not been there.

Re: Iberia Discussion
In the font that is used on the speed limit signs in Spain, the six and the eight are difficult to distinguish from each other at a distance. It's hard to tell if the speed limit is 60 km/h or 80 km/h. Is it like that in real-life in Spain?
Re: Iberia Discussion
IRL 60 km/h limit is not that common, you will probably find it on an autovía exit, a tunnel, a moderate bend or some other specific places. Rules say that the size of the sign depends on the max speed of the road they're in, normally they're big and clear enough and I've never found any problem with it.
Sometimes their size is smaller to fit on the sides of a tunnel or on a very tight median, maybe that's the proportion SCS has used to represent the signs, but in those places it's mostly 80-90 km/h.

Re: Iberia Discussion
DLS is very cool! But who guessed to make parking at Transportes Caballería so ugly? Have you ever seen a trailer boggling around in a place like this for no reason? It's not funny anymore.

Re: Iberia Discussion
then dont modify the config file with a command that otherwise is not accessibly to people, doubles dont have the medium and hard parking option, so this isnt a bug/glitch/error
