Now that brings another good question, as Avenida Brasília ends in the CRIL/IC17, which is a free road, while N6 leads to A9/CREL, a tolled road. A9 is longer, but IC17 may be "less harder" to make due to the tunnels and more fitting due to the traffic difference

Re: Iberia Discussion
That's all? Scandinavia, VLF and BtBS each brought dozens of new cargoes each.
Re: Iberia Discussion
Well, it's a map expansion, not a cargo expansion. New roads, new environment, new types of companies and new modular prefabs are what you get gameplay-wise.
Also, while Scandinavia and BtBS indeed had some cool new cargo for flatbeds and lowbeds, what new cargo did VLF have that wasn't for boxed trailers, fuel tankers and such - i.e. cargo that makes zero difference gameplay-wise besides a new possible line of text you can see on the Route Advisor job screen?

Re: Iberia Discussion
Currently, there are more or less 300 cargoes to carry on a specific type of semi-trailers in the game. 50% of it are coming from the base. However, there are additional cargoes added in the game if you get any of these DLCs:
- Scandinavia
- Vive La France
- Italia
- Baltics
- Iberia
- High Power Cargo
- Heavy Cargo
- Special Transport
- Volvo Construction Equipment Cargo
Noticed that none of the cargoes added when you get Eastern Balkans DLC and only one cargo added when you get Iberia, and it is Olive Trees (4t). It might have additional cargoes added when Heart of Russia rolls out, akin to that of Scandinavia to the Baltics release.
As to general cargoes, majority of that are coming from Scandinavia, followed by Vive La France and Italia. Added cargoes carried by flatbeds are usually coming from the Baltics.

Re: Iberia Discussion
A few years ago SCS decided to add new regular cargoes mostly only to base game instead than to map DLC. Since then, with DLC only arrived very specific cargoes very related to that place, like happened with olive trees for Iberia.
The situation isn't either the same than when Scandinavia was added, for example. We have a lot more cargoes than 6 years ago. Problem with cargoes are more a question of a few trailers having not so many options combined with thew way WoTr generated cargoes when using owned trailers.
And of course, the lack of lots of kind of industries that allow us to haul lots of cargoes between two points that make sense.

Re: Iberia Discussion
Before Scandinavia was released SCS advertised for a full cargo cycle from farm to table
https://blog.scssoft.com/2015/03/cargo- ... navia.html
This is it not the case even today
Might arrive with HoR as SCS again has promised this

HoR will bring one of the steps that will make sense. But there's still too few food processing companies to make it minimally realistic. We deliver most things from farm-like companies directly to super-markets. And the jobs to those food companies are very very rare.
Re: Iberia Discussion
The scarsity of jobs for WoTr External market is in the biggest issue with the game now. Basically only box, flatbed and container trailers have cargo readily available. Some newbie driver wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021 17:17 Problem with cargoes are more a question of a few trailers having not so many options combined with thew way WoTr generated cargoes when using owned trailers.
Re: Iberia Discussion
Some curious news related to the Iberia DLC. Some of you may know, but when the DLC was released, it featured a specific road stretch that wasn't finished yet in real life, a case where the devs actually anticipated the future. I'm talking about the Portugal-Spain border crossing at Vilar Formoso, between the cities of Guarda and Salamanca. When Iberia released in April 2021, the Spanish A-62 highway didn't reach the border by some km and became a two-lane road until reaching the "line". Then you had to cross the town center of Vilar Formoso and from it access the Portuguese A25 tollway. You still can see how the area looked like in Google Maps' satellite imagery. During 2020 it seemed that the roadworks in connecting A25 with A-62 were pretty advanced though, so it appears that the developers decided to recreate the future version of the border crossing. The picture below shows how the area looks like in the game:

As you can see, the exit to Vilar Formoso also features an easter egg, with the 'WIP ON BORDER' referencing the roadworks that were there IRL during the DLC's development.
Well, the work in progress is now no more, since last December 20th the roadworks were finished and the new border crossing was inaugurated!: https://www.swissinfo.ch/spa/portugal-e ... a/47207062
So here's a video in where you can see what the new border crossing looks like IRL. The exit to Vilar Formoso is pretty accurate, although the actual number of the exit is 352 and not 355 as in the game (I don't know if the number in the DLC was was guessed or it appeared in some official blueprints, nevertheless, it's a very minor inaccuracy). I must also say the in-game town of Vilar Formoso looks pretty accurate to IRL, both in the DLC and IRL you can see the pavilion's spotlights towering over the houses (in the video around the 3:00 mark).
