Other newbies did Sardinia and Corsica. If new newbies had equivalent skill level and learn as fast; they are more than capable to do the Pyrenees.

The newcomers performed miracles in Sardinia and Corsica and it was pleasant. Well done.
It garnered a lot of praise from players in the regions.

Yes they are able to make the Pyrenees and surprise, whichever route they choose.
There are so many cool routes in the Pyrenees. Personally I would like to see Andorra and Gibraltar, to have the complete Iberian peninsula. It would be interesting and different to have customs in Iberia.

I think 2 routes in the Pyrenees would be cool. connecting PAU (FRANCE) with Spain, and the route to Andorra, connecting Spain and France.

New roads in Iberia is super delightful news!

Still waiting for the completed Arganda, Ciudad Real, N-432 from Badajoz and, of course, the Pyrenees, but having Soria and Beja at least is a great start ;)

Portugal-Spain
It is that route, right?
O wait, quoted 2 routes in that. I think I posted these here sometime. I have saved some possible routes in a txt file.
Both endpoints are in the game, so the only thing missing, was to do the big job of creating the rest of the route. And a city too?! Beja. Nice!

These below are from viewtopic.php?f=41&t=280349&p=1538323#p1538323
Soria
Should be this route.

IvanKuz, yeah, more of Ciudad Real would be nice.
Ciudad Real, N-401 north, that might have been either https://www.google.com/maps/dir/38.9753 ... m2!4m1!3e0 or some sort of https://www.google.com/maps/dir/38.9753 ... m2!4m1!3e0 . The latter I think less likely? The first would have an option for https://www.google.com/maps/dir/38.9753 ... m2!4m1!3e0 .
There are even more possible routes that could be added in the future.
When checking these routes, I did not count on more cities nor towns.

Andorra? It would need a new interchange at A61 France. And for Spain connection? not checked, I think.

<3 that blog post :)

@Shiva yes, that's the route through Soria that they are adding.

About Andorra, if ever, there's 2 rational options going south:

- Through Cadí Tunnel down the Llobregat valley directly to Barcelona (N-260 road to C-16 highway linking to AP-7 around Barcelona, or turning C-16 into regular road C-55 to link AP-7 at Martorell)
- Through the Nargó canyon direction Lleida (C-14 all south linking to the road between Lleida and Barcelona)

The country of Andorra itself shouldn't suppose a problem, on the contrary of other micro countries. Because Andorra has a single main valley through which the main France-Spain road goes and all the big populations are build around this road. So it could be said it could be mapped "ATS style", where the main roads enter into the core of the cities. A lot of buildings along the road with a few spread out companies yards, one gas station (mandatory) and one river at the side of the road. Everything surrounded by big mountains that will NOT have the problem of drawing distance (because they will be really really close).

Some newbie driver, those roads seem possible.
I have not checked current roads/connections for Spain, that could connect to Andorra.
Well, I did check out this, right now https://www.google.com/maps/dir/42.5047 ... a9!1m0!3e0 Using current ingame roads, from Andorra to Llieda.
And to Barcelona https://www.google.com/maps/dir/42.5047 ... 97!1m0!3e0
For Andorra connections, there has to be made interchanges. Atleast for Barcelona. Maybe where AP-7 and Autovía B-10 meet? Remodel it to a 4 way interchange?

And for A61 France?
https://www.google.com/maps/dir/''/43.2 ... m0!1m0!3e0
I think that Aire de Bram is ingame, or something that looks like it. And the area just west of it, looks where Péage de Bram Sortie N°22 should be, but is not.
It looks like it would be D218 and D4, that pass over the ingame A61.
O wait, it is rather Aire du Belvédère d’Auriac, that is ingame, than Aire de Bram. About 20km IRL between those two.

Andorra in the future, would be nice.

And it would be nice to see even more roads added to Iberia DLC.
I think this DLC is worth more than what SCS sells it for. Even with current roads ingame.

This content is being created by our new map designers as a part of their training program.
Pyrenees roads need more than newbies ... :D
It could be worse, just imagine the one who was assigned to model the Batalha Monastery (i really pity that person)

The usual price tag for map DLC already seemed me an armed robbery (from us to SCS) in the case of Iberia.

Considering 3 new roads we had so far, 2 new locations for those roads and the more than probable (hopefully soon) road through Pyreness... The amount of content regarding the price payed is absurdly high.

So, wether I would gladly like to see still more roads added to Iberia, I suppose that, after closing the big gaps, they will probably focus on other DLCs that had been waiting for longer some additions.

There's also the point of, if those jobs are going to be tasked to newbies, when the new batch of newbies could take care of that.
