Iberia Discussion
Re: Iberia Discussion
I don't know if they're still hiring mappers, but anyway they must be trained on the latests maps, it's silly to make them learn obsolete methods like redoing Benelux or Switzerland.

Good timing of that last announcement after that terrible volcano disaster.

@Jacktruck
Good morning, looking at the DEVCAM screenshots posted. I didn't find a duplicated highway on google maps in the corresponding real area.
Maybe they're doing some new fast highway. But looking at the browser the possible route would be this:
Route: Oureense - Maceda - Verin https://www.google.com.br/maps/dir/Oure ... 0?hl=pt-BR
The only justification for this would be some industrial districts in the eastern part of Ourense. And the route goes through some small towns in Galicia. The route would be almost parallel to the A-52.
We need this route and access to empower, Verin and Chaves, and the central route that Portugal needs to Faro.
Route: A Rua (near: O Barco) - Viana do Bolo - A Guadiña
https://www.google.com.br/maps/dir/42.3 ... 0?hl=pt-BR
Greetings.

Re: Iberia Discussion
From that point a secondary road to the starting point of Portuguese N2 can be easily made. Can this be a sign it is starting to take form on the map?

Re: Iberia Discussion
The road I was talking about, in the third picture I posted you have the answer ... It's just the A-52 part that is now missing in game.
It would be very good when going from Vigo to León, Burgos,...

Believe me, Serra da Estrela would be even worse.oldmanclippy wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021 19:30 If anyone complains about the Pyrenees not being in this batch: this road would not be proper material for a newbie to handle.

Re: Iberia Discussion
Yes, the A-52 highway in Spain is needed to improve the IBERIA DLC.
But also N-610 to Palencia, bypass the A-65 because it allows accessing the A-67, this road connects with the A-62 bound for Valladolid. From the A-67, take the connection with the A-610 highway, and the connection with the A-62 highway in one direction with Burgos as destination. In Palencia Giga manufactures Renault to be added as loads to be delivered: parts, steel sheets, pneumatics, automotive glass, etc... And as outgoing loads: vehicles.
We could obtain as playable city Ourense (4 or 5 companies), Verin (logistic city - road junction, access to CHAVES /Portugal. Maybe 2 companies in Verin). At the other end of Palencia.

Could a city box trespass country borders?

Yes, in case, Chaves/Verín. They already share many things.
