Re: Iberia Discussion
We passed 2/5 of the event in a bit more than 48h.
More or less appreciated; it's clear that so many highways let people "eat" kilometers at ludicrous speed.

Re: Iberia Discussion
I miss this roundabout in Alhama de Murcia, this is a real challenge (Murcia is well known for her terrific roundabouts)

This other one in Alhama deserved a bit more of love

This road could be extended to link Murcia & Granada-Jaén.

Fun fact, I learnt to drive aged 10 in that base (I also met my first PC games there, from monochrome to SVGA):

Re: Iberia Discussion
Vigo is a nice little town very rural, the gas station and the garage are both worth a visit

Yeah, hopefully that one in Alhama is just a placeholder, noticed it the other day, looks a bit sad like that but it feels like a placeholder to be honest, so I hope it still needs to be changed. Quite a challenging avenue indeed that one, literally every roundabout has a sculpture, I definitely wouldn't mind if they skip the first one you posted, not only is it quite complex but I never found it to be that good-looking Including Alhama was a good choice by the way, good enough job representing the El Pozo factory as well.

Re: Iberia Discussion
The first sculpture was skipped because it caused an epileptic attack to the three first SCS modelers that tried to do it.
Re: Iberia Discussion
Did you find the hippy half-life spider in Murcia already? It's near IKEA. Also, the PORCELANOSA shop has become GERCELANOS... Amazing!
Great thing they included Alhama, there's not only El Polzo, but also PCComponentes, for those outside Spain, they must know it's like the Spanish little nerdy brother of Amazon.
As for Vigo, I left it a while ago chuckling after finding the marvelous warehouse of MECHELIN.

Re: Iberia Discussion
Murcia has to be one of the cities that has been recreated the best, and I absolutely love that basically every roundabout is as in real life! I appreciate the effort a lot, loved to see it.
Vigo itself is definitely bigger and is the one you find further north on the map, and yeah that area also looks beautiful.
Another very good part of the map but that is actually the industrial area of a town called O Porriño I saw they placed the garage there probably because in actual Vigo there wasn't enough space. And there's "Vigo" on the signs but I'm afraid that part of the map still needs some major improvement in terms of signs and hopefully that's only a placeholder.plykkegaard wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021 23:16 Vigo is a nice little town very rural, the gas station and the garage are both worth a visit

Yep, Murcia is very good. No tram next to Ikea though.
Isla Grosa roundabout kicks ass. Car dealers in N-301and administration buildings (extranjería &university) are nicely recreated. Estrella de Levante factory (local beer), citrus factory, Myrtea mall, Churra quarter, Los Rectores urb., the cemetery & the old power factory... Everything in place.
