Iberia Discussion
Re: Iberia Discussion
Iberia only has three types of roads.

Italy has five types of roads.

Italy being a very small map has more variety of roads unlike Iberia, which is much bigger.
Many parts of the map is unfinished or have done it without interest.
It looks like an ETS1 game.

I'm very disappointed.
Then you see other DLCs and is better finished and with more interest.

Re: Iberia Discussion
Seriously, I'm not seeing anything wrong with the asphalt texture. For me the texture looks perfect. Seriously, where do you see ETS1?

Re: Iberia Discussion
Everything is better than the base map... well, maybe not any more with Germany rebuilt, but that is still a very low hanging bar.
Re: Iberia Discussion
It's true that certain guardrails are missing, and maybe another things, but I don't think you can say "without interest". It's more correct to say bugs, unfinished work,...

Re: Iberia Discussion
Landscape, rails missing, lots of details missing, just the road and some grass and default veg around it. It doesn’t even look brushed. Some areas look amazing, but the north of Portugal has some pretty bad looking areas (except Porto, of course.)Marcello Julio wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021 13:52 Seriously, I'm not seeing anything wrong with the asphalt texture. But it's in very few locations. At least I don't remember to have seen more than one or two. Do you have seen more than 1 or 2?
Well, guardrails I remember more than 2 for sure, but not the other things.

Re: Iberia Discussion
What is the hexagonal Japanese faces sculpture on the A-8 eastbound between Gijon & Santander?

Re: Iberia Discussion
Yes, but in this case I was talking to him about the texture that is definitely far from an ETS1. Yes, there may be a lack of detail in some locations and signaling problems as has been reported here, but they should fix this in the next major update. They’re reading everyone’s feedback, so I believe the problems that everyone’s reporting on will be fixed.NewCoolMapper wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021 15:44 Landscape, rails missing, lots of details missing, just the road and some grass and default veg around it. Re: Iberia Discussion
Would have been nice if you had shown the whole interchange and not parts of it.Highflyernl wrote: ↑17 Apr 2021 21:58 The more I drive on Iberia, the more I don't like it, the asphalt look is the most terrible I've seen since those old 2013 prefabs (I wish there was a way to change that to any other kind of asphalt), and they sure took shortcuts a lot, for example this AP7/A23 interchange, seriously? Didn't see this style since Scandinavia. I think I was expecting at least the same quality as previous DLC's. And the signs...well, enough is said that already....

This might be one of the reasons why SCS simplified that interchange -> https://www.google.com/maps/dir/39.6745 ... m2!4m1!3e0
A-23/V-23 and A-7V-23 interchanges would have needed too, without that simplification done by SCS.
AP7/A23. Could it have been better to have a default cloverleaf interchange there? Instead of the current?
That could have had room to have the xtra IRL exit.Esproquet wrote: ↑18 Apr 2021 06:50 Yep, another thing that I found that made me raise an eyebrow was A-3 / A-31 / A-43 junction north of Albacete.

You don't need to take an exit on the road when going from Madrid to Valencia & vice versa.
But on the other hand, that extra IRL, would take more space too. Than the cloverleaf. Double it north and double it east, or thereabouts.
