There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

Reading all the comments, it seems SCS raised the bar by extra hard parking and less resting areas. So planning is essential to have enough time to figure out the parking. Anybody has a video of parking at the difficult spot at Transportes Caballería in ex. Barcelona or Valladolid?

Re: Iberia Discussion
They are correct for trucks with semi trailers. They are indeed incorrect for trucks without an attached trailer, but the game doesn’t differentiate this use case.

Re: Iberia Discussion
The game differentiates to a degree as it is only on External Contract you have a fixed limit, it is 90 km/h and not 80
For all other type of jobs (except special transport) you can manipulate the limit in the config file

Speaking of resting areas, I've had a lot of issues finding the resting spot in several of the gas stations in Iberia even though it looks like I'm right on top of the icon. I love the DLC but some adjustments might be good here.JPD68 wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021 08:07 Reading all the comments, it seems SCS raised the bar by extra hard parking and less resting areas. Re: Iberia Discussion
no you cant, the game cant differentiate between truck+trailer and truck-trailer in regards to speed, also the WoTr speed limiter has nothing to do with the shown speed limit ingame, yes the truck cant go faster then 90 but it doesnt stop the game to say you can only drive 80 with a trailerplykkegaard wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021 09:31 The game differentiates to a degree as it is only on External Contract you have a fixed limit, it is 90 km/h and not 80

Re: Iberia Discussion
Yes, there are some stops that don't seem to activate no matter how accurately you park, such as on A-6 (southbound) near Leon. These should be reported as bugs.
In terms of rest area coverage, I can't say I agree they're more sparse than usual in general terms. The only stretch of highway that doesn't have any rest stops is A-66 between Badajoz and Salamanca, others are completely fine.

OMG, my HDD just died and I'm 6 jobs short of completing the event. Is out there any fellow driver with some spare wheels to lend?

Who said I wanted to have a dynamic limiter in the game?xXCARL1992Xx wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021 10:16 no you cant, the game cant differentiate between truck+trailer and truck-trailer in regards to speed
WoTr sets a max speed limit if you don't like it don't do external contracts it shouldn't be difficult to understand
As a comparison between in game and RL
IRL / in EU you have a limiter on the truck for max 90 km/h
Allthough signed for max 70 km/h on a road in the city-zone you can still go 90 km/h and take your chances
To avoid excessive speeding you can use your CC

Re: Iberia Discussion
That's something I've experienced throughout the whole map. Some rest areas at gas stations are accessed more easier from the wrong side....Hegario wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021 10:07Speaking of resting areas, I've had a lot of issues finding the resting spot in several of the gas stations in Iberia even though it looks like I'm right on top of the icon.
