dsf.fernando, Cologne to Dusseldorf.
Those cities are co close that the areas suffer because of it. Sadly.
I do wish that it is not repeated for Iberia DLC.
Unless they can do as has been done in Washington DLC and the Seattle area.

Even after some rebuilds of the base map in ETS2, Cologne and Dusseldorf areas still suffer from the closeness to each other. The cities themselves do look better tho.
Maybe it could get better when those areas get more Germany Rebuilds?
I'm not sure, so close cities would work well for Portugal tho?

I think the main reason the Cologne/Dusseldorf area suffers is simply its old age rather than the closeness of its cities. I mean, for the most part the reworked German cities are basically still the same old GTS cities but with new HD textures. Of course, the restrictions of the 1:19 scale for cities that are so close together are still a problem, but if the devs were to rebuild that whole area from scratch today, with all the tricks and techniques they have developed over the years, I'm sure they would be able to represent it a lot more accurately. Corsica, and indeed Washington, are great examples of successfully cramming many things in a small area.

If the rest gets a rebuild someday, yeah, then it might look better.

I hope that one day a rescale will be developed.
May be 1:15 or even 1:10.

1:10 sounds good for an ETS3, even 1:15. Scaling up is an enormous work and considering the amount of content to deal with, I won't recommed that. If they charge for a large scale map, then fine (that's still ets3 worthy imo) Getting rescaled map for free is just.too.ridiculous (Atleast before the base map gets reworked completely).

they won't do a ets3. Mohegan13 actually explained it not too long ago why.
