itsavenn, Andranik that colleague?
Yeah, your collegue gave a quite good description where it is on the blog.
Was quite fast to find it on google maps.

/edit:

Regarding city amount for Iberia?
I believe more than what is in the Black Sea DLC.
But not even close as many, as was linked a few pages before.

Now that we saw that SCS has awesome "Copying / Pasting" mapping abilities. It is time to see their navigation signs.
IMO, signs are details that are as necessary as scenery details.

P.S: I think that the idea of Olives is a great idea because there are some highway (like the Spanish a-44) that are so surrounded by olives that if you open your car window or turn on the air conditioning, you will smell a strong olive smell

I think Tobbii also had to take that image down, that speculative map first appeared on the ProMods forum, and they probably didn't realise it wasn't official ;)

In the SSAO screenshots, the one with those blue/white houses, seems to be in South of Portugal.. You can see there a man with some crates, like it's selling fruits (We have a lot of that here in Portugal). The Parking sign, seems to be a Portuguese style sign and if you look closely you see those lightposts with a "ball" on top, also very common in almost all Portugal. Check it out and see if seems correctly with what I said :D

no, my friend is from malaga, and yesterday he showed us this place, anyone from malaga over 18y and driving a vehicle must immediately recognize this place, right?
if scs publishes a screenshot of Viseu, i will instantly recognize it if it looks like real life because i know the region very well :)

I saw it in October, it didn't make it to Promods forum until November. ;) So it certainly wasn't first there.

I would say that the three details you mention could perfectly be Spanish too; but the house painted in white with blue details isn't common in here. It could be an specific detail of that building alone, or maybe in Portugal you are more used to decorate facades of buildings in that style; I don't know.
